can someone please explain Trilogy and how it came about

guessing 3 smaller manufacturers decided to combine for a better shot at the market share

was there some other connection

gotta admit have not kept up with new disc related stuff too much past a random post by someone or something

makes ya head spin thinking about all these disc now

I can't even throw the ones I have to full potential

will the first to market always be in top spots?

is there enough for all of them to have a piece of the pie?

Not sure exactly who started the term trilogy, but it refers to the three companies selling discs made by latitude 64. The other two are Westside discs and Dynamic Discs. A facebook page for the fans of the three companies uses the term trilogy to represent the three companies.

There is a trilogy team for players that want to represent the brands and only throw discs from those three vendors. It is not a sponsored type of arrangement.

There is a trilogy challenge which uses a disc from each company similar to an ace race or birdie bash.

So it is a fan based group that enjoys the brands. It is not directly associated with the vendors.

"Trilogy" was started by a fan page of latitude 64, westside, and dynamic discs on facebook. It's recognized by the three, but not fully sponsored by them. If that makes any sense.

Their discs are no joke. Very well crafted. much glide. so pretty. Wow

And if you think they're small, then I'll point you to titanium and g star plastic... A direct response to the killing latitudes gold line plastic had made.

figured.cuz when I googled searched only a fan page really came up as direct search hit..

and it confused me cuz it seemed like some merging of the three brands into one as it looked official but no real notice on the three brands actual websites..

they outta just give the peeps what they seem to want and go with it..
