The new job gives me weekends off. If Crafty doesn't have any projects for me, I should be able to volunteer on Hole 1 both days.

Dave, sad to say but after nine performances at the ACT, I will not be able to attend this year. An extended trip to Italy is what it takes for me to miss this tournament. Thank you to you, your wife and all involved in putting on such a great tournament catering to those just starting out in tournaments. My annual donation will be in the mail.

Reminder that registration opens in less than 24 hours! As indicated in the first post, we're doing a staggered start this year due to DGU's request and Sunday registration will start 30 minutes after Saturday reg opens. After multiple years of stability, apparently this year they're worried about us crashing their server. (in fairness, the ACT *still* holds the speed record for sellout in the DGU system a year after ACT 9 with many, many events holding registration between then and now! So I guess we're one of the big ones that make them nervous at this point :))

Also, here's a sneak peek of this year's fundraising disc. Artwork goes to Discraft tomorrow so they are printed and delivered by tournament time! $20 event sponsorship gets you a disc - all proceeds go towards offsetting the costs of this ever-growing tournament

Dave:

Can you reserve me a fundraiser buzzz? And if you have any leftover, one from last year as well? I may not ever play again, but I want to keep increasing the size of my ACT memorabilia each year!!!

and just because ...

Dave - Can you put a buzzz aside for me? I'll be there to caddy for my friend. Casual player, first time playing in a tourney.

Also....

Someone call the bagger police!

Isaias, you signed up for the wrong division.....

Brandon Shaw, GTFO you're not allowed to play in this tourney. You won a pro event this year!....Seriously bro give someone else a chance.

Can do on the disc, Dan!

re: any bagger calls, I'll stick to my usual policy and let the players decide for themselves. We've never checked ratings, event results, etc prior to participation in an ACT before, and I'm not gonna start now :)

mike's right on one... :) we have two newer discs in the mix this year with one older one "just because". People who have played the ACT before know that I love putting solid, classic discs in people's hands. Can't tell you how many people came to me RAVING about discs like the Wolf and the Aero. It's crazy.

Brett needs to switch from Saturday to Sunday.

Is there anyone who is playing Sunday who wants to play Saturday?

Hmmm, this is fun...

For the older one....I am guessing Valkyrie...although your Wolf / Aero comment makes me think the Polecat may come out from hiding, unless it see's it shadow...then it will be the XD.
