Beaver Lanes Near HOGBACK MNT

Post by Titan_Bariloni »

It is call to play first and they have a facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/BeaverLanes

Guy and I took a trip up there last weekend

Great lil place
Owner and his crew were chill dudes and def put in work

It is a smaller more quirky layout in relation to a conventional DG course
some would prob not enjoy others would have a blast

That said it is a hard lil layout with cool lil local twist

one hole has a hoop ya must go through one round or add a stroke, the next round same hole but if ya go through add a stroke

Another hole has a teleportation device that if you hit you get to warp up and shoot an auto putt from about 40ft

It was cool hit the device a wind chime attached to some old metal lid
The hole is tough and it helps out a lot..but if you miss the warp you have a tough spot to get up and down and no chance at a 2

Overall the vibe was chill and continous work seems to be being done

The owner says their WEDZ league draws 20-30 people, so that is cool

Ran into other golfers mile away in Bratt VT and they said they love it at Beaver Lanes

The owner said spread the love so figured I would share here

They have toured the some courses around NE and had great things to say about the work

Also seems that is where the Greenfield MA peeps are hiding at...gonna have to get em motivated down there

Great place to just go have fun and enjoy a different side of Disc Golf

Yeah, played there twice.

5 bucks to play Wednesday league.

Just be aware that they don't take the game seriously. They are here just to have fun all night long.

Play the first 9 holes, then wait for awhile (for others to refill their drinks or whatever) and then play last 9 holes in different tees but same baskets.

You will only need one midrange and one putter to get good scores. Plenty birdies.

It's "okay" course to play if you are not in rush and cool with tipsy people. :drunken:
Tee Off and Pay ATTENTION!!
