A course worth going to for the day

Post by Christopher Gerow »

So I am thinking of doing a day trip, 3 hours, in any direction, from Boston. What course should I hit up for the day?
This is happening next Saturday, October 11th.
I would love to return back to Sabattus, or Wickham. Brewster Ridge will have a tournament that day so that is not doable. Nantucket would be awesome but can be pricey for a day. Hopefully The Hollows will be open by then.
Suggestion please.

If I were driving, I would consider Warwick. I have never been myself, but it's next in my list. All those others you mentioned are worthy, too.

Beauty Hills are nice place to go but I'll be caution about the beautiful colorful fall leaves that might hide your discs. :?

Woods at Beauty Hill and Top of the Hill are right up I93 near Concord NH

http://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=4519

And follow the directions that they give on DGCR for Beauty Hill and not GPS directions.

Both are fun courses with cool owners! Plus I imagine both will be looking good with all the fall color!

Warwick is 3 hours 50 minutes from Boston. Troll Valley in Farmington ME 3 hours 15 minutes. Neither qualify but Troll Valley would have been my suggestion.

Hi Chris! Pinnacle/Mt. Sunapee - two fine courses within close proximity to one another and well worth the drive. No crowds to fight and there may even be a Stansfield sighting.
