I'm VERY sorry (post 10am 11/8 Buff L&F)...

First of all, let me say that I'm VERY sorry for the inconvenience that I caused anyone who showed up Saturday morning to Buff hole #1 for the L&F between 10 and noon and did not find me there. I WAS there from 9 to 9:50 (Devon, ATN, E-double, etc. will attest..) but was booted from the property by one of the rangers. The reason stated was "commercial transactions are prohibited on government property". With that being said, I left. I do not want to cause any friction with the rangers / government (as they allow us to play there, etc.). I was totally unaware that such existed as I've been doing this for the past 8 or so years there at Buffumville, posted such on their kiosk (for all to see), and no one ever said anything to me before!

In addition, I decided to not park myself "just outside" the federal property and try to get the discs back to the players who might show up then because I don't know Oxford's commercial / zoning laws...and assessed it not in my best interest to be "pinched" by any local police (for not having a permit, etc.), since my luck didn't seem to be going my way today.

So the order of things that were / need-to-be done are:
a. I left the premise
b. I will talk with Tim R. to learn his thoughts on this
c. Some other place perhaps will need to be found

I'm trying guys....

Tim R. contacted me; all is now straightened out.
I will again post a new list at Buff and here at NEFA of when I'll be with all the Buff water-found L&F discs. Still $2 per disc (or I'll end up donating them to schools, camps, the rangers, etc.).
I'll do this either later this year (Dec...yuck, but maybe...) or early in the spring.
I'll post it in a totally new thread; let this thread and the old Buff water-found L&F threads die.
In addition, I will TRY to bring discs (of people I think I'll run into) to tournaments / places I go to to play.

Team Buff is playing Saturday against West Thompson in Team Challenge this Saturday. From 9-4 there will be base camp set up for the food and 35+ people there that play Buff regularly.

Hell, my guess is people will show up to see the savage ass whoopin' heading our opponents way. Yes watching team Buff is worth the price of free admission.

Thanks for the head's up (..this type of notification could work, i.e. team challenges, etc., over the winter) but I'm in NJ trying to sell my house this weekend. But in the future...
