Re: 2015 Flat Rock SNOW BOWL Full SHOW AT OWN RISK
I have room for someone if they want to ride with me. I'm not puffing these days.
I'll be there early and have to split shortly after the event finishes.
I leave from Sterling and roll out 190n to rte 2w.
Orrrrr, I can grab you at Strands Ski Shop in Worcester, which is less than 1000' from the rte. 290/190 interchange. Strands is a safe place to paahk ya cahhhh.
Holla.

Is this in the event of a tie and a need to move some of those people to a lower payout skin group? If so, what are you going to use as a basis for that? Most birdies, fewest bogies, best dressed, person who brought you a homebrew to enjoy?
Any snow out that way? I'm thinking no.

Woke up this morning with whatever my gf was sick with the past few days. I feel like 8 hours in the cold & damp is not a great idea. Have to back out.
Sean, please keep my entrance fee and apply it towards the payout/course maintenance/some good beer for you/whatever
Enjoy the tournament everyone.

I think this right is reserved in case someone who normally shoots well below 60 comes in with a score well over 70. Franch knows his locals.

Re: 2015 Flat Rock SNOW BOWL Full SHOW AT OWN RISK
My favorite disc golf moment in 2015 has happened already, without even throwing a single disc.
When I was at Walmart buying canned goods/ dry pasta for the event's charity tomorrow, I found myself all sorts of excited buying things I thought someone would be happy to see on the shelf at a food pantry. I've completely lost care in the actual playing of competitive disc golf and have found myself wanting more than anything to play well enough to win some dough to donate to the charity of the Franchi's choice.
See everyone in the morning.

Re: 2015 Flat Rock SNOW BOWL Full SHOW AT OWN RISK
Huge THANK YOU to the Franchi family for hosting such a spectacular event.
Same goes for Paul Sullivan for putting together our group (George Economos, Bob Penny, Paul and myself) for the first round via his event sponsorship.
Thanks to Stephen Economos, Shawn LaForce and Taylor Maslowski for making the skins round so much fun. Never have I wanted to win skins as bad as I did, so I could donate the $$ to Seeds of Solidarity and the food bank. Did all I could but couldn't hold off Stephen from a near clean sweep (16 SKINS!!!)
I'll see y'all next year as this is event is even better than I ever imagined.
ps- lets all make 2015 the year we donate more than ever. People need OUR help.

Thank you to the Franchis and everyone else for getting this together and running so smoothly.
Its one of the best winter tournies and I'm glad I got to make it back this year!
If only every course had hot dog fires and ice cold stream beers.
