$2000 for a round trip flight. We are not there yet. Def not a major. They must have lobbied for Major status to get some of the top players there. Or it would have been a bust. The top players trips are most likely paid for by sponsors.

I've been waiting to comment on the Aussie Open and its Major status.

The only thing major about it is the vacation the dues paying members are floating for their beloved board of directors.

You gotta know there is someone involved in the Aussie Open who understands that the term Major has been so loosely thrown around over the years that their event is diluted from its inception. Just like majors before this one.

You want to know what the real majors are?

None of them, because the label Major in disc golf has no merit.

I'm soooooo glad the Annual Maple Hill event never became a major. It simply became something more special and truly better than Major status.

Thank you, NoT A MAJOR!

Anyways, Jackson... The MHO truly changed my life. I don't know if you remember but a few years back.. I was a young buck who would ask a million questions every Saturday for a whole summer @ Maples Sap House.
You answered them all with enthusiasm, pointed me in the correct direction for Leagues, then told me about the (Vibram Open @ The Time) MHO. How it was a big event and a National stop.

First thing that popped in my head was "people do this for a living?". I went home that day and watched my first YouTube vid of Dg...

Long story short... The MHO has been my vacation week from work for the past 3 years and with that I thank You.

MHO is truly special

I still remember meeting your parents telling them disc golf was a great environment for their son to spend time in.

Dude, the MSDGC, Vibram Open and now Maple Hill Open have done more for the game and its players, than words can describe.

Thanks bro. Without people like you, there would be no Maple Hill.

i watch a fair amount of disc tournaments on youtube,
hey its winter, and i live in gloucester.

i would say that the course in perth, australia, is one of the longest yet most boring courses ive ever seen

of course macbeth won, its not that exciting
181 courses and counting....
