The NEFA BOD is excited to announce the return of NEFA grants for 2015. The application and process have been updated to allow the BOD to award the grants in a qualified way that makes biggest impact.
We have done away with the small $500 course grant this year in favor of an educational grant (more details to follow). Large Grants up to $1,500 will still be awarded. The BOD will award up to 3 large grants for 2015. Follow this link for full details and the application:

NEFA GENERAL GRANT GUIDELINES:
• Grant funding should be used for projects that will help to improve existing course conditions, (baskets, kiosk, tee pad materials, signage, etc)
• All proposals should support the NEFA's mission (see page 1 of the application instructions in the link above)
• Project ideas are encouraged to be innovative, unique and beneficial
• Project ideas should help to grow the sport by encouraging increased participation for players and/or spectators, volunteers, etc
• The NEFA Grant Program is not intended to fund the sanctioning of tournaments or leagues but rather specific disc sport materials, infrastructure and/or promotional projects that help to grow disc sports for the use and enjoyment of the general public

Re: 2015 NEFA Grants
Are nefa grant winners being announced soon? Per the application grant winners were to be announced 1 month after the submission deadline of 3/14. Thank you nefa for doing the grants.
I hope our club is granted one. We are looking to expand our Stonykill course in Chatham this year.

Re: 2015 NEFA Grants
The NEFA BOD met last Thursday to review three large grant applications among other business. After independent and group review using our grant review and evaluation tool, the executive committee commenced a remote vote. The awardees are:
DisCap for their work at Stonykill Disc Golf Course
Souhegan Valley Disc Golf for Wilton-Lyndeborough Coop School Disc Golf Course
You can read the grant applications here: https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... sp=sharing
Thank you everyone who applied for a grant and helped with this process and congrats to the grantees. It is amazing how much hard work is going in to growing the sport.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Note Jeff Wiechowski abstained for voting on DisCap's application.
