Hop Head Fest Triples - April 18 2015 - Hyland DGC

FULLHop Head Fest this year will be triples.
54 players, 6 players per card starting on even holes.
3 divisions, Pro, Am and Womens(limited to six women).
$100 per team

This year I am going to change it up a bit. As we all know Hyland needs new tee boxes. All money collected will go towards rebuilding the boxes. The plan is to install pacers like you would find at Tully. In exchange for your entrance fees I have hired nine musicians to play on 9 holes on the course. I will purchase 9 kegs of beer to put on 9 holes on the course. I will try to work free lunch in therr somehow. There will also be prizes on every hole for every card, and trophies to first place in each division.
Like years in the past the brewery will fill all of their taps with hoppy beers from different breweries.

So there is a change to the way the money will be handled. Since I am getting tee box sponsorships as post in general discussion, any money left over after paying bands and buying beer will go towards prizes. So not only will players get beer and entertainment all day there will be prizes on every hole for each card.

9 kegs = about 540.
9 musicians = ?? at least 500...
Lunch = ??

might want to re think the 9 kegs idea! Maybe do half that, 4 kegs.

Still will leave people stumbling off the course.

I am buying enough beer so each player will have the opportunity to drink 6 pints. Some will drink more and some will drink less. I have to at least provide that amount. if I have to purchase more beer because it ran out I will. The musicians agreed to play for the price that I could afford. Most of them will be playing because they like Hyland as a venue. They all know if they fundraising tournament and I would pay them more if I could. They will all have a tip jar and CDs for sale feel free to help them out.
