The Cape Cod Disc Golf Club is gearing up to introduce our club, the sport of disc golf and propose a new course to the Town of Sandwich Conservation Commission. The meeting will take place next Wednesday, March 18th. The club has been discussing a new course proposal with various town officials, including the Rec. Director, Town Planner, DPW Director and Conservation Agent over the last several months and we're now at the stage where we are looking at using some of the town's conservation land that abuts the Sandwich Hollows ball golf course. This will, of course, require the approval of the Conservation Commission.
We are seeking letters of support to reinforce our proposal. If you have the time, please forward your letter to me at: staraviar@yahoo.com Letters should reflect your passion for disc golf, how it has impacted your life and your local community. As we are going before a Conservation Commission, any wording that reflects the minimal environmental impact of disc golf is highly encouraged. Any and all letters of support (no matter how long or short) are needed!
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration towards the CC Disc Golf Club's proposal for a new course in the Town of Sandwich!!

Hi, Andrew.
To help grow awareness of DG in Sandwich, you might consider submitting Disc Golf Live for broadcast on the town's community TV station:
http://sandwichcommunitytelevision.blog ... Ql-VeESGic
It will probably take a local resident to complete some paperwork, but otherwise the process is pretty easy at most stations. I would be happy to mail program DVDs to a you or another local resident for submission, or shows can be downloaded from this file sharing website and burned to DVD on your end:http://www.pegmedia.org/index.php?q=msvr/showall/119/detail
Disc Golf Live is a great vehicle for growing public awareness of disc golf, and to help educate local movers and shakers about our favorite game. MA is full of public access stations, so if others in the Cape Cod DGC region are interested in promoting the sport in their communities, drop me a note.
Best regards,
Joe
