FORMAT: 2 Rounds of 20 Holes, maximum 80 golfers
SCHEDULE: 8:30 to 9:15 Registration, 9:15 Players Meeting, 9:30 1st round tee time. Lunch is provided for all players, 2nd round 30-45 minutes after last group in.
COST: All 4 Pro divisions $50 + $4 fees* All 8 Am divisions $20 +$4 fees.* Non-PDGA members $10 PDGA fee. *(Sanctioning, PDGA&NEFA fees)
GOODS: 100% of Pro fees go into Pro payout. Am’s will receive custom tournament disc. Lunch provided for all players. CTP’s, Prizes, Trophies, Tee Shirts. Ace pot available during registration.

MAY MADNESS WEEKEND

Play in our sister tournament Amesbury Pines Open on Saturday, May 2. All players who play in both tournaments eligible for overall weekend trophies and cash prizes. $100 and 2-disc plaque to overall low Pro score, and $50 and 2-disc plaque to overall low Am score. P.S. It looks like youth lacrosse has just one 5:30 game up at Pye Sunday. They'll be practicing like crazy all week--in the horse corral near 10-10A-11, and on Harmer Field (#19), but don't let that get you down, we should be all clear (waiting for final confirmation from my lax contact) for Sunday.

UPDATE: Town Lacrosse apparently keeps their schedule on a webpage other than their own. The damn place is going to be crawling with Lax players. Looks like we will have a 19-Hole Tournament, as Hole 19 isn't going to be playable.

All other holes should be good. We'll try to pack the parking in as tight as possible and block off "our" section of the park.

For those who are interested, the EMC is the first of 5, possibly 6 qualifying events to select the Massachusetts representative to the 2015 USDGC. If you are interested in trying to qualify for this spot, the info is as follows:

How it Works

-Any person wishing to qualify can enter in as many events as they want, separate $10 fee for each qualifying attempt.
-100% of qualification fees go to the winner to help offset travel expense.
-The highest performance rated tournament finish among the events will be chosen to represent MA in the Performance Flight at the 2015 USDGC. Performance scoring is individualized (handicapped) scoring based upon your individual rated performance at the event relative to your individual PDGA rated expected performance.
-In the event of a tie, there will be an Octagon Death Match. The player with the higher PDGA rating will win.


There are 5 qualifying events (with one additional event pending TD approval to be added).

The events are:

Eastern MA Championships

Borderland Spring Fling

Crane Hill Open

Cape Cod Open

Nantucket DGO

I will be on site at many of these events to sign people up and collect the $10 per event fee.
YOU MUST SIGNED UP PRIOR TO THE START OF THE ROUNDS ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT.

VERY IMPORTANT INFO FOR PLAYERS

So before people pay the $10 to qualify at each event you should know these key things

You Must:

- be a resident of MA

-be PDGA current

-be a Certified Official

-be 875 rated or higher

And before you are eligible to attend the event should you qualify, you MUST have a minimum of 12 PDGA rated rounds between August 1, 2014 and the last ratings report prior to the 2015 USDGC.
