Does that mean I can register for am2 just in case I don't make it in from the waitlist for am1?

Hi Pete, I can't make the tournament after all. If you could refund my entry fee I would appreciate it. I have to work that weekend
Thank you

All am's should be Sunday and we should have an all pro Saturday.

I am about #20 on the pro day waitlist. There are about 20 total signed up for am day.

What are the chances of changing to an all pro day and an am day?

Just not sure if is fair to Am 1 players that signed up with a particular date in mind.

I am certain it isn't fair to those who signed up for a certain date, I know a few people who can't play tournaments on Sundays that jumped on this immediately

Bingo. My travel partner for this one is an AM1 who jumped on it solely because he could play the same day as me without moving up (which he did last year).

Pete and crew are in a tough spot, as are all TDs who do the split day thing. Saturday was just pros last year and it was definitely not full. Moving some am divisions (or a single am division) to Saturday makes sense if the goal is to maximize attendance for the whole weekend. The question is which one(s) to move.

I got you Kelly, pm sent. Sorry you can't make it!

To everyone else. Basically I'm sorry that we can't accommodate everyone. Perhaps Pure Flight will be able to join efforts with the Crane Hill Board and expand this event next year to allow for more players but for now and most likely for the future as well we can only do 72 on 2 days. We thought this would be the best way to break down the divisions and on one hand it obviously worked on the other- not so much. But having people upset because they aren't playing is probably a good thing for the event-just don't miss out on it next year!

And about the event on Sunday, realistically the registration numbers are solid, they only look slow in comparison to Saturday's side. Having 22 registered after 36 hours is not shabby considering there's still over a month left of registration. Plus I really like that the availability of spots on Sunday should lend itself to a lot of local players testing the waters with their first ever tournament, which is what this is all about. Growing the sport!

Mark D, you have until 7am tomorrow to register or to lose your spot. If somebody wants to reach out to Mark to let him know, please do. I've sent him a few messages now and need to keep the list moving.

From here on out if there's a drop, next up will have 2 days to claim their spot.

Apparently according to the pdga tour standards doc I am wrong. A player can play both days. But that's lame. Double dipping.

It is allowable Zoro, but for sanctioning and reporting, the two days are considered separate events. It allows for multiple tries at the USDGC qualifier though, so that may be a consideration for some. I'm just excited to see such a big MPM field. Wahoo! Old dudes rock!

Bummed cuts, but we'll have to do without you. One of these years you gotta get your NY/NJ crew together and make the trip-it's worth it!

Mark Lyons you are up! Take your spot now by sending us a paypal at pureflightdiscgolf@gmail.com for your remaining balance of the tournament. If it's just an entry you're looking for we'll need to get $50 from you (assuming you're PDGA current, $60 if not) by Wednesday 9pm or else your spot will be given to the next chap in line. Registration options come with an $8 lunch option and a $3 ace pot option - both can be paid day of though.
