Please review the player meeting notes before tomorrow. This will allow for a quick player meeting and get everyone out on the course. Any questions, just let me know.

Are there estimated distances for Pebble Beach long and short tees? Curious.

Quick Pebble Beach question that happened to me : suppose I go OB from the teebox, then proceed to drop zone. My shot from DZ skips off an in-bounds rock and lands OB. Do I shot with penalty from the rock, or return to DZ?

We are declaring that any OB shot off the tee or Drop Zone, will go back to the Drop Zone.

120 ft from DZ (maybe?) and 275 from long (maybe?). Totally random guess.

From 2012 tourney thread:

Dean Withrow wrote:
We've just made it considerably easier. New improved tee box, many trees and limbs cleared, LZ has been cleared of brush and you can always throw it long (to the lodge) and take a three. The White tee has had several major changes also. We were able to remove the large "blocking" branches and clear a nice hyzer route for the brave. Anything thrown into the woods to the left of the road will be a free lift, hopefully encouraging everyone to clear the water and find firm ground.
Blue Tee (260')

The plan is to have everyone except recreational and intermediate women throw from the "blue" tee. Those two div will from drop zone location.

So is the drop zone the old "short" tee? I know in past years the drop zone has been a painted circle before you cross the bridge to the tees.

Here is a link to PDGA results through 2 rounds; MA3, MA2, MM1, and FA2 are final. All other divisions return tomorrow for a blue to blue round, and a final 9 if you make the final payouts (40% for pros; 45% for ams)

Here is a link to the NEFA faccebook page that has a photo of the hole assignments for Sunday. Check in is from 8:00 to 8:30, and you must check in at tournament central.
