Titan, I still have the tent frame, but not a suitable cover. Steve Ditterman was nice enough to give me his cover a couple of years back. Unfortunately it was too large for the frame. I'll ask around and hopefully be able to come up with something for the day.

Gateway offered best deal by far then any other company
The stamp will be from last year to save money and there are only so many things to do with logos

This year I have a ton of things in the works behind scenes to move this event forward and to expand the cause

I will be having another logo contest soon to get a cool fusion of nefa and special o for future use and to create a cool stamp to use across the board

We have moved the location of Olympic Town to the grassy area in between the Bright Hockey Center and Murr (http://www.gocrimson.com/information/fa ... cility_map )
>- We have up to two parking spots available for each vendor, you can enter the complex at Gate 8. You will need to provide me with the names of drivers so that I can pass along to our gate attendants. Any additional vehicles may park at the Soldiers Field Garage off of Western Avenue.
>- Please let me know the amount of tables and chairs you will need and also if you will be bringing your own tent.
>- If you have any questions day of the event, I can be reached at Intern1@specialolympicsma.org<mailto:Intern1@specialolympicsma.org>
>
>If you would like to stay in the same location as last year or move to where all of the other vendors will be located on the facilities map and have a smaller area to work with.
>
>I would like to thank you in advance on behalf of all of our athletes, please let me know if you have any questions.
>
>Thanks,
>Matt Camara

I put myself and Breck for two vehicles

We are staying at Jordan field and will be a short distance from actual O Town

I figured it would be best to keep fenced field

Thanks

Sorry Titan I haven't been on the NEFA forum for a while now. Yes I have my basket still. I'm going to the Sox game with my girlfriend the night before and we are staying over in Boston. I won't be able to lug the basket around. No luck on the tent. Any chance you, Breck or Matt can meet up me somewhere before Friday to grab the basket from me?

No Thomas just bring you

So we have
Rob confirmed X 3
Matt Duke X 2

That is 6 and will suffice any extra bonus putting area for people not able to traverse course

Tent who cares 70 and nice

Volunteers
Rob
Matt
Arty
Bob
Thomas
Kdgc member ?
Titan

Bob will be doing photos for multiple media outlets to raise awareness for the cause of dg + so = awesome

I have the old landf Tully disc

The goal crew is to interact with participants and coaches, parents

I would like to focus more myself on getting contacts from coaches as in years past it has been forgotten

So we can get this to next level of medal event
These athletes love dg and it's gonna be great to see medals awarded one day

OK let's have fun tomorrow

Anyone else lurking come on out bring the family

Today was awesome on so many different levels, we had our 1st ever ace by a participant. She was my dubz partner and hit an ace to win after a 5 hole play off. The mayor hit an ace in the dubz tourney after the olympics were over, sadly the island hole proved a worthy adversary for the MAyor and Duke. Breck and Titan take the title for a 2nd year in a row (allegedly).

Many athletes, many smiling faces and overall good vibes, today was a good day.

Today was fun
As always dgers adapt
I feel we are on horizon of medal competition

Finally an ace from a participant and in epic gallery fashion in a playoff

It was really a great day once again. Aces, tin cup moments and lots of smiles. I was sad that we were unable to get the lacrosse field this year. It made us have to be extra careful on errant throws, but no one got hit by any discs thankfully. Good strategic planning on Titan's part to spread the volunteers out and man the perimeter. I think we had the potential to have more exposure where we were, but unfortunately the crowd did not seem as big this year. I know a lot of that was due to the construction at the old O Town site. Hopefully the powers that be at the SO see the value in what is being offered to the athletes and work to improve the setup next year. Regardless it was another very successful day. Looking forward to next year already.

I think the construction at Harvard hindered the ability to have everything set up a lil better

that said we seemed to have a new face crowd where as in years past we had many return participants
so double edged sword of sorts

I am preparing an official request for medal events this week

fingers crossed
