PBR is leading it for the funnel stations.

Good call on the silvers.

I know of 3-4 of us so far coming up for Friday.

The Polo's are being ordered after the logo is created.

We'll need players to commit to sizes and each captain can sort that out.

We need each player to get the funds together for the golf. $65 per player, this includes a shared cart.

I'm expecting the Polo's to be roughly $30 per player. I specifically asked for something of good quality that players will be happy to wear. Not a piece of sh!t.

Question:

What will be the best and worst real golf scores?

What will be the best and worst disc golf scores?

Never mind who will shoot what.

Here's my guesses:
Real Golf 67/86
Disc Golf 54/71

Now that's some serious spread right there!!!

Kovo Leicester CC has runs a twilight deal after 5 (4:45 if your there early) $20 all you can play with a cart

Its a nice little course and conditions are sweet

My guesses are 73/85 for golf 53/73 for disc

All depends if a capt stacks a team or not. If both TRY to make "even" teams, a -3 in bg will be very good, as will a 55 or 56 on MH.

with total strokes being the game you would think that even teams are the way to go. Match play lends to making stacked and sacrifice pairings

Yah stacking teams is usually not good when counting strokes and leaving a few weak teams out there.

What will Worm do? Go balls out and stack or spread it out?

Worm, balls, stack, and spread it out should not be used in the same sentence... oops, I just did it too.

Keith Burtt and myself are going to play a round on Sunday early afternoon up at kettlebrook and was wondering if anyone wanted to make it a 4-some. Captain Jackson was a maybe and will know more on Saturday if he can play so potentially looking for 1 or 2 people. Hit me or Burtt up here or on facebook. I believe after 2pm its $45 for 18 riding.

Played Kettlebrook with a couple teammates today and I'll have to say that the course is really good.
We're playing 2man scramble, affectionately known as "doubles" in disc golf, so it helps being able to place your ball before you hit it.

One thing to remember is that when placing your ball into position for your shot (in the ball golf) you can't change cuts of grass.
Ex: if you choose the shot that is in the rough only by 6", you'll have to take your next shot from the rough, not from the fairway only inches away.

The Silver tees are no joke.
The 17th hole requires an uphill tee shot, hit about 255yds to a pin tucked behind a sand trap. It's one of the hardest par 3's I've ever played, coast to coast.

The greens were real nice. Held a shot beautifully and were a nice speed.
Not lightning fast, not slow, just right.

I'm really excited for this event.
If people wanted to play disc golf the next day, there's a new course, designed by Eric McCabe up in Manchester NH, hosting a NEFA/PDGA event on Sunday Aug. 2nd.
It supposed to be a fun course and Jim Bailey (the TD) is a good guy, so consider it for Sunday. It's a little over an hour to Manchester NH from the Worcester area and I think there's space for players to get into this event.

Shirts will be dealt with tomorrow.

Shirts will be $45. Adidas Clima Cool. Niiiiice.
East team will be Navy colored shirts.
West will be Red colored shirts.

Everyone is in from what I've gathered and I'm sure these shirts will be verrrrry niiiiice.
Everyone have the dough for the shirts at the event. Get your sizes to your captain and go hit the driving range.

The top golf scores will be under par if anyone knows how to use the ol' flatstick.

I suggest Captain Tserpes and I start throwing out teams.

Since it was my idea, why don't you throw up your partner and I'll put mine up and we'll lock down the 7:40 Tee Time

The ball is rolling!!!

We put up Andy Durant/ Karl Molitoris for that 7AM tee time.

I'm guessing that's our first team that might shoot under par.

So we've got a sampling of teams and how they are stacked.

Since Captain Tserpes will be playing in the captains group with me, we'll be teeing off at 7:40.
I'll go ahead and throw out the next team, Dave Jackson/Jon Gordon.

I don't expect you and your partner to keep up with us, so pick someone you like to have fun with and don't worry about playing well (Please pick Tabs  )

As much as would like to stacks my teams it's not gonna happen. I do like your pairing with Jon so we will definitely have fun for sure. We will see who keeps with who.

So I am putting out John Dickinson and myself. That is a whole lot of NASA to deal with.

I hope they play ball golf better than they play DG.
I had to say it.

Two players I think I had in that spot were Doug Churchill/AJ Brunelle.

Did you cut Tabs yet?

Dead weight.

I updated the funneling rules. Oh my god there will be some laughs had in the ball golf round.
Better hope 5 out of the 6 groups of players on each team can handle a six pack of PBR injected into their teams soul over 6 holes. Lol.

I haven't funneled since high school and I can't wait to crush the three beer on hole 16 tee.

Haha the funnels is optional since you have Karl. If Karl does a funnel then all should. Just sayin.

East is coming to kick your arsses.

My next team for 7:20 will be Erik Pleso/ Dan Maloney.
These boys will crush for hot round in golf.

K funnel boy, what you got?
