I never enforced the rule I set, basically to see how said rule would be handled given leniency.
Next time, I'll know better to stick to my word and not bend in the interest of fun.
And BTW Bro, that's not the team to be concerned about

Congrats to everyone who played this league according to the rules. Also congrats to the teams that made finals. Basically mutually exclusive categories.

Dave, as a project manager we always do a "lessons learned" right after the project so the possible improvements are still in our minds. So, maybe we should use this forum to talk about tweaks for the fall. I think we have one major question;
How do we make fair, even teams? Put less restrictions and just let people team with whomever they want? Or, more restrictions that use NEFA/PDGA ratings and set rules; 2 pros, 2 ams, etc.? Or, put all the names in a hat, separate by level and pull them out to create teams?
Other than that, what other changes would you make?

School yard style: Make captains out of the top players, put everyone else in a pool and draft them.

The only catch is, what if a player is drafted by someone they truly don't enjoy as a human being, let alone as a disc golfer?

They become best friends. Just like that kid you fought in 4th grade a couple of times but then in 5th grade you invited him to your birthday party.
Plus teams don't golf together on the same card, right?
Do you need to like someone to win with them? In basketball maybe. In golf? Probably not.
