Registrations will be up on the PDGA tournament page shortly.
Thank you to the 15 people who signed up over the weekend and will be out to enjoy Pure Flight's first event of the year! There's no better way to bring in the start of the tournament season than by playing a PDGA/NEFA event. In fact the only thing that makes it better is when it's full, ya see what I'm getting out here?

Re: 3rd Annual Pioneer Valley Classic PDGA/NEFA 4/16
Sweet! See ya there man.
As an update to folks for this event and future events this year (not just Pure Flight events). The PDGA withdrawal and refund policy has changed this year. It is now 40 paragraphs long.
The new and updated Withdrawal and Refund Policy has been updated in the first post.
Without talking with anyone at the PDGA about it, I can only speculate that this change is an effort to put more power in the hands of Tournament Directors and create a better opportunity for added cash etc. In the meantime it does strip players of some of the luxury they were previously afforded.
I will be the first to admit that some tournament registrations (such as this one) come up with only 5 weeks to go before the event. With the new rules, that would give someone only a week window to withdraw with guaranteed $$ back. That's definitely a little tight, so expect Pure Flight event registrations to open up further in advance in the future.
I will work with players as best as possible in this transition. The spirit of disc golf is one of understanding, so if there is ever a problem please just shout me out and we will deal with it together.
Cheers!

Now the reg is FULL, can you tell us about the layout?
Played at NoHo today with Travis...been awhile since we last played there...and we realized that there's some possible two or three different baskets placements. So, we practiced all holes anyway.
Is there another basket at #1? Haven't seen it before, that's new.
Are we playing long or short holes? or both?
Thanks in advance.

Second Round:
All pro and advanced divisions will be playing the long layout which will be original 13 and 14 and longs on: 1, 11, 17.

First I'd like to say thank you to Pete and the team from Pure Flight for putting in a great event. Looking forward to playing games many more of there events.
Second thank you to all the volunteers that took time to clean and maintain the course. I was unable to help due to being out of town, but I have never seen the course in such great shape. Great job!

As always, hats off to Pete and Jeff and all those that helped organize the event. Also a big thank you to those that have helped prep the course this year. Noho looks better this year than it has in a while.
Now... wheres the footage from that drone that was flying around during the lunch period?
