This is the event I try to prepare for anything......... but Mother Nature, my game and a POS laptop managed to unravel what appeared to be a smooth running event.
Mother Nature has a cruel sense of humor. She clearly misunderstood the 2 minute horn as a cue to start raining.
Only made it 7 holes before it got serious. Glad to have my phone and live radar available so that I could see that we needed to suspend play and let the bad weather blow over. Thanks to the players for understanding.
Minimal drops and everyone arriving on time got us started on time and the late sunset gave us plenty of time to get all 45 holes in. There were rumblings about cutting out some 2nd round holes but I didn't want to do that unless it was absolutely necessary. Those extra 9 holes are key to the Jammer, IMO.
"Every card gets to play a Final 9". But we only were delayed about 30 minutes so it's all good. Actually got more "thank yous' for stopping the round than I expected.
Now, on to The List..............
Thanks to a multitude of DisCappers that came out in the weeks prior, to spread mulch, pull weeds, trim bushes, cut & haul off the dead woods and make the place look amazing. Special thanks to the mower crew that came out Thursday and Friday, the roller players loved it.
Thanks to Kat for taking on the daunting task of bag tags. They are always a hurdle that trips us up for one reason or another.
Thanks to Nick, Theresa, Gene & Chris for counting cards/scoring help. Special thanks to Gene(from Carolyn) for some well-timed verbal support.
Thanks to Jeremy from Village Pizzeria for arriving early to take orders, showing up on time to deliver lunch and then taking it all back to keep warm because of our weather delay.

Thanks to Jaimen, Nick & Danny for hanging signage and CTP flags.
Thanks to Tripp for awards pictures and keeping me grounded during both rounds. Pretty tasty post-round beverage too.
SPECIAL thanks to Kenji for scoreport help, ring-of-fire, CTP organizing, a last minute chainsaw run. Oh and that 11th hour bank run too!!
HUGE THANKS to my wife(and co TD) for running the show the whole time i was out at the park for weeks prior, preparing the course for all of you. She was the hero of the day for having her phone handy when I called to suspend play, baking a boatload of goodies to eat and pulling out the hand warmers.
Special thanks from Carolyn to Danny Partin for his jacket that kept her warm all day.
Most of all, thanks to the players............it's great to see new faces and old friends out there to battle the J-Park Jungle !!!!!
