League tonight! Weather looks pretty good. It should be warm but not humid.

This will be the last 5:30 start and we are pushing it. Please make sure your round is completed by 7:50pm

We will cut off registration and put the system into score reporting mode at 5:20pm and tee off is at 5:30pm sharp. If you wish to play league please arrive before 5:20pm. As usual, the cut off for general groups is 5pm. We will also be banking all payouts aside from the ace pot. All weekly winnings will be tracked on our standings page and all money will be paid out at the bonanza or shortly after if you are not in attendance there. With the new registration cut off its safe to assume we start right at 5:30 but I'll still yell a start anyway.

Ace pot is 46 plus tonight's added money.

Had some technical issues with our wifi adapter last night but with some cooperation from a few people we still got everyone out of there by 8:10 last night.

Next week we will be moving the start time down to 5:15pm. This means the General cuts off at 4:45pm and Hill players need to be checked in by 5:05pm.

Vibram Disc Golf will be setting up some fun contests for us at league on Wednesday. Fastest throw, 3 in a row, backhand/forehand at same speed, putting contest and a ring of fire for prizes. Come out early and have some fun!

Had our lowest turnout of the season this Wednesday with 51 players. Weather was nice so not sure why the # was so low.

A couple other league tidbits:

This should go without saying but I'm compelled to do so anyway. If you drive yourself to league, please make sure you are capable of driving yourself home safely. It's not exactly my place to to tell you how to live but I haven't been comfortable watching some of you drive off.

I'm curious as to why our numbers are dwindling so much this summer. I'm not exactly worried about it and it's actually kinda nice in some ways to have it scaled back but it is my job to run this league well and I'd like to know if something can be done better. If you have scaled back your attendance for a specific reason can you please let me know the reason? I just want this to be as successful as possible for Devens DGC so that we can continue to improve our courses and donate to other courses. I'm thinking about next year already so your feedback is helpful. Thanks

Solid night to end the 2016 Wednesday league season. We had 64 players on a beautiful fall night! Most players on the General went out within minutes of each other and caused a sluggish round. 4 of those groups finished in the dark.

Only Marc Sobota could catch 3rd but I don't think he will be traveling from North Carolina for the Bonanza so the top 3 is set! Frank and Bill are fighting for 2nd.

Ben Maxwell - 71 - Trying to lock up 3rd
Greg McWilliams - 70 - Chasing 3rd

Casey and Jesse are locked into the 1st and 2nd spots and Ben and Greg are fighting for 3rd.

C pool:
Sean Coyne - 94 - Lock for 1st or 2nd
Don Tucker - 89 - Lock for 1st or 2nd
Brett Reynolds - 63 - 3RD Place

Don could potentially catch Sean but Don would need to win C pool at Bonanza and Sean would need to place in 6th or worse. Both are a lock for either 1st or 2nd. Brett is a lock for 3rd

Womens Pool:
Ashley Toomey - 81 - 1ST Place
Kelly Jenkins - 75 - 2ND Place
Jacki Bogan - 44- 3RD Place

Would take multiple aces by Kelly and Kristina to shake up the ladies division
