Still need to install the kiosk and bench, and fix the tees that were installed without supervision.

Sweet kiosk! Mike, will the course be staying open all year round?

Course is open year round. Parking may be an issue if there is snow. Town didn't plow last year.

Checked out the course on Friday for the first time after playing West T.

Fun course....the occasional quirky holes and some very "interesting" lines, but overall enjoyed the course. Lots of potential!

Great work!

Just installed the practice basket this past weekend. Now there's a place to warm up before weaving through the trees on hole one.

almost 4 years to the date but I finally got to enjoy the hard work of Mike & Crew

When I arrived there was already someone there in the parking area, I took a wild guess and asked are you Mike?
Yup

I would say the world meant for Mike and I to meet but apparently I could have chose any day andMike would have been there

That is so refreshing seeing DG still has some warriors out doing battle, here it is 4 years later and Mike was still improving the course and serving as a face for the course

We ended up having a 4some great times with Karl,Mike and Kurt
Karl,Kurt and I played a second round as well

What a great location for a course and a valuable addition for DG along the RT 395 corridor
West T and now Davis Forest will serve as great examples for the DG course virus to spread even further south

Overall fun layout great use of the land.
Mike is a super nice guy but has a levelof darkness to himgreat examples on hole 1, & 18
To beat the course you must start well, and constantly have the nagging thought of hole 18 to comewhile grabbing your pars and birdies along the way

What I currently judge a course by as my mentality has shifted toward what a recreational player would enjoy is did I have fun? YES I did at Davis Forest DGC

Thanks again Mike and crew
I will be back to enjoy future rounds and will encourage others to also

edit, I would also like to thank you for keeping my desires and inspirations alive, the thought I have always had in my head for DG to thrive is exactly what you have accomplished at DFDGC!

Hey Jake,

Glad to see your back and enjoying the course. My favorite is still 15 which was your design. I've hit lots of metal there but no ace yet.

To the right of the old spot. It's a little bit down the hill along the walking trail. Hole is now a straight shot through the woods and a bit uphill. Longer too.
