Ball & Chain Challenge Sept 24 18 at Dunroamin 18 at Flatroc

Post by Sean Franchi »

This is a bring your own team of 4 event with a goal of raising money for the Marine Recon Foundation. Specifically, money will go directly to a recon teammate of my son's who was injured during a training mission.

Format is a 4 man Florida scramble at Dunroamin then at Flatrock teams split into 2 best disc dubs teams. From there, they take the best score per hole. Last year all six teams were within 3 strokes at the end of the day.

If you want to play but are having trouble fielding a team let me know, I'll try to match you with someone.

$ 70 per player includes cart and greens fees all day, and allows $30 per head towards the charity.

Prizes and donations being accepted even if you can't play but wish to help.

We do a potluck cookout after the event plus lunch at Flatrock between rounds.

So far we have
Team Franchi
Team Ballard
Team Dietrich
Team Brown
Team Norcross
Team Big Mehr
Team AJ,Kobel ...

What time is this thing starting? That weird golf with a little ball first?
I'm like the Lebron James of disc golf...except for, you know, that whole being a giant douche thing.
