Buttons-
so easy to press your buttons and get you all worked up....you should start a thread called "Who gives a SH!+" try to put it right between "Smolin Vs Sax" and "Ask the Assassain"....

your elder teammate is right...you should listen to him....there is a lot to be said of winning with class....watch the way your teammates Bear and Tim (not just those two...but the rest of your team too) do it...fierce competitors and gracious winners....

When it all comes down to it we're rivals on the course but friends as soon as the match is over...trash talk is trash talk some of us just feel the need to spew more of it than others....my next piece of advice is when you trash talk use singles events and not doubles (Gary's right about that one too!)

WRONG

Did I not say you brought your "A" game? Or "soundly beat me". what do you want??
"on the road in the cold in a hostile environment" is an NFL Films quote.
Yes, home field advantage did come into play here. So what?
I've been very tongue-in-cheek about this whole thread.

How many Kudos do you want for beating someone who's NEVER aced and has thrown only two rounds of under-par golf (both this year) in his life?

12 months ago I watched you plod through that grueling tourney-54 round at Pyramids and I must say that your game has improved since then. Regardless, you WILL choke someday soon (like everyone else) and it's going to be in a woodsy course far far far away from home where my thumbers go through the trees while your playing lumberjack. (I don't drive a wide open 300 foot hole with a thumber!)

I'm serious about the $50 Ice Bowl bet though. Loser donates to the charity. Take your pick (only FDR and J-Park are currently on the schedule):

1) FDR
2) Joralemon
3) Tolland?
4) Cranbury?
5) Kisco?

Sheeez, I thought about razzing you with the fact that Joe was going to cut you from team Buff if you didn't beat me but there I go being a nice guy again.

Steve,
I wasn’t planning on posting about me beating you or anything like that cuz if I wanted too I would have done it. When I saw what u posted I though wow he is giving me props which I didn’t expect you too do then I saw this statement..

"However, just like guys who beat the snot out of me at Wickham, wait until I get Bobby on the road, in the cold and in a hostile environment and I shall prevail.......

This makes it sound the only way I can beat you is at home.. I apologize that I took it the wrong way but that’s how I thought you were coming across... It still will be fun to bet the $50 when there is a next event. Im not traveling out to Maine or NY to play so it will need to be somewhere else.

Wick?
B-lands?
Maple?
Pramids?
Barre?
Buff?
West Thompson?

P.S. I did like that 130ft second shot you had for a duece. :D

Gotta be an Ice Bowl

Cmon, J-Park is only west of you. I get to drive north to Springfield and hang a left. I've only played there once. It's only half jungle and lots of course management.

The point of the Ice Bowl was to donate the "winnings" to the charity, ie. the local food bank. (not because I've inferred that you can't play in the cold) Pick one. I'm sure there's more coming on the schedule.

(perfect time for an Ice Bowl TD to proselytize)

No Buff, No Wick (no baskets)

I've only played Tolland twice, BTW. No advantage from chronic play.

In the past year, at Buff, I've played one round of doubles, the Dam Open and yesterday's challenge. Then you'd have to go back three years for the last time I played there.

You've played how many rounds there in the past year? That's quite a sandbag. If I wanted to be as practiced as you at Buff I have well over an hour's drive. It needs to be relatively neutral territory, not somewhere that only one of us plays on a regular basis.

Cmon, step right up. No sandbags. You don't need them, right?

I gave you options and there not my home course. Im not that dedicated to drive to NY or Maine I don't even go when my boys ask me to go so why would I now? Here is the breakdown on how many times I played at places and I know you got me beat in that department.

Barre MA played there 1 time 3 years ago
Pye Brook played there 1 time which was this year
Amesbury pines played there 1 time which was this year
Wick played 4 times.
boarderlands played there 3 times.
Maple Hill play 10 times a year.
Pyramids play 20 times a year.

Im sure you played these places a lot more than I have so what about one of these?

The bitch here is that I'm the one that gets the drive. Yeah, J-park is a haul but it's actually even distance for both of us.

Generally, within two hours is a no-brainer for me. You drive it.
OK, I get it. Bobby don't drive. Maybe the car hummmmmmmmmmm causes an undesirable womb simulation situation, whatever.....

OK, we'll wait and see who's going to throw their hat into the ring for an Ice bowl in MA but all we have is Buff right now and if that's the way it stays I guess we're playing at Buff

Steve thats probally the only thing you can win cuz I know you couldnt win the match from me..
I dont want to play you at Buff been there done that. We got all year to play and you do show up to many tourneys anways so you can't use that as an excuse that you have to drive hours away if your gonna play anyways.
Ill take that bet at any tourneys you show up too and if im there like the ones we already played this year besides BUFF Maple and Pyrmaids its on and then who ever wins can donate the money to the next charity event or do what ever you want with the money. My car doent hummmmmm the girls that get in it do, but hey thats what happens when your good looking and you drive a sports car. 8-)
