I'm cool with whatever format is chosen but think that Stableford would be much more exciting and provide much more separation between teams if we were playing on a course with holes with varying pars.

I've never played Tully and am really looking forward to it but I seem to recall a post from some other thread describing only handful of par 4's. I could envision many same scores shared by multiple teams (especially playing triples and doubles) that would create quite a logjam between all of the teams.

I don't think anyone's scared of Stableford, I love it really, but am not sure that it would suite this course in double and triple formats ... thoughts?

I'm down with the stroke play format. If it's highest score wins, I'll keep getting the two-donut coffee special every morning. That's what I call a dedicated training and practice session this time of year.

At Tully there are 10-12 deuces out there.
Four or five threes, and the possibility of making a couple fours or fives.

Doesnt really matter, sounds like the course has a bunch of deuce oppurtunities...

either way you look at it, it's gonna take a spectacular shot to seperate the groups with the format we are playing, there are gonna be some HIGH scores.
