Jack and I won so it was determined by the last group if Wick won or if it would be a tie...then another playoff...Fun day... snow was a bit deep. I lost 3 disc on drives that were right in front of us and even spotted. Good foot of snow still up there...

You are wrong Jason. The singles went 5-3, there was no way to have a tie. If we won the last doubles match, we would have won 3/4 matches for 6 points. That would have given us the 9-7 edge that you guys enjoyed. Those are the facts Jason, argue with them, not me...

Of course this is just tongue in cheek, but facts are facts. We were that close to beating you guys.

Wow...I apologize. Doing the math I now see I was miss informed. I was under the impression of what I said earlier. I was using single points intead of double....It was close!!!

Congrats to Team Wick and especially to Greg and Chip for taking down the best that we could throw at them both rounds.

If Team Bord won the last match they would have won the day 9 to 7. Team Wick was up 5 to 3 after the first round. There were 8 points available in the 2nd round. You and Jack won (+2), Team Bord took the other 2 matches (+4). Before the last POH was completed the score was 7 to 7. Then winner of the last match won the day.

Sorry Team Bord. I didn't read past JG first post to see it was already explained in full. No disrespect intended. Great show by both teams!

mike d wrote:Great match Wick. Tough loss to swallow, but good to know it was in our hands at the end. If we win the last playoff we win the day. Very close all day. Thanks for the funtimes, we will meet again at finals.

Next up; Tolland in Feb.

Actually Mike, you guys are hosting us in February (Team NASA)
