Maple Hill vs. Devens @ Devens

Post by Dave Jackson »

What is a good date for Devens? I know it's not till Feb., I'm just trying to get the ball rolling for our next challenge. I know we will probably have 8 players because that's about all we can wrangle up for matches...
You're going down next, BOO-YAH!!!!!

so i cant really tell but are you guys being serious that Sundays work better than Saturdays?
I sent emails out to the team so I should have an idea what works for us in a few days. Id imagine that the first weekend is out because of the Devens ice bowl.

Can't speak for the whole team, but I plan on playing the Buff Ice Bowl on the 16th.

The Superbowl kickoff is going to be around 6:20PM.

The day after the icebowl would likely have the course as packed down as it's going to get in February.

My kickoff is gonna start around noon. We need another date, superbowl sunday is not a good option (a last resort if you will)

Interesting idea Hoey although i must admit I am the worlds worst disc golfer after any more than 1 beer.

How bout the 27th? Its a sunday, its not the buff ice bowl, nor is it the superbowl... What say you Dave "Im Sorry Miss" Jackson?

I've done nothing. My wife and I are having a baby in like a week. I can't sleep anymore. I'll try harder to act like a captain tomorrow. Holy crap, it is already tomorrow, I guess I'll shoot for Friday. Not sleeping because your nervous sucks.

So does that extremely vague response mean that we are on for the 27th?

My bad, i did indeed mean the 24th. So are we finalizing that date? If so ill tell the team and if not we can work out another (although i think the 24th is the best)

well, baby Cale David Jackson was born on Monday the 28th @ 1:31 am. He was 7 pounds 5 ounces and 21" long. This kid has hands big like Timmy Walsh's. It would be cool if someday he could throw a disc like Timmy, cause' his father can't.
The 24th looks good, since I have not checked with the team. Shaun is stepping in to help with captain duties so He'll make the call for this challenge. The way things are looking, I will have slept a little by that date and I'll be ready for the challenge.
Thanks LaForce...
