Battle of the Bottom Dwellers

Post by John Borelli »

Devens and Tolland are currently working on a date for the 1st Annual "Who Sucks Less" NEFA Challenge Throwdown. This will be an exhibition match, probably on a Sunday in April.

Stay tuned.

I just emailed the Tollanders and we'll see what we can to logistically to make this WSL bout happen. It may even be an Home and Home exhibition series!

For the record neither O-fer team has played each other yet due to the way the schedule was put together, but we thinks both teams match-up well. We want to be ready and confident to beat some new teams like the Panthornians next year ;) .

What neutral course we looking at? I think that West thompson, tully, barre, or buff would be the most logical choices for drive times etc. although WT may be out due to flooding.

We were actually thinking at Devens now and then at Tolland later in the year, or vice versa, since most from both teams have not been to either.

I say Barre

But Of course I might not make it if we're playing the same (Sun)day as Fool's Fest (6th) or Tully (13th)

What is this? Everyone loves Sunday month??????

Tollanders,

Going by both personal and NEFA schedules, it looks like these dates work for most of us.

* Sun April 6 (FDR Foolfest same day but none of us are going except maybe Justin)
* Sat April 12 (Tully tourney the next day tho)
* Sun April 20

Our pref is the 6th or 20th at our house.

What say you?

4/20 would work the best for me. I know some of us are playing fools fest...not sure about tully but that could make a long weekend.

Okay, this is next Sunday, 4/20. Are we still doing it? I could go either way (Y or N), but honestly am leaning toward No. I've got a yard to cleanup!

If people want to do it, I'm in, but I wouldn't mind if it didn't happen next weekend either

After chatting with Dave M, we have canceled this. Bottom Dwelling rights will be decided at the Finals!

Please spread the word.

Since we'll be at the finals, perhaps we can discuss in person when the best date for a Bottom Dwellers match might be...if there's still interest in the next few months - or maybe as a warm up to next season.
