N.S Course opening day was a success

Greetings all,

My Opening Day event for the north Smithfield Course went very well. We had many guest speakers, and a lot of people came to play afterwards. We sold discs, and taught people how to play. The Woonsocket Call came and created an article on the ceremonies. I presented the school with the EDGE program and they were very pleased. Mike Dussault gave a speech about the sport of disc golf, and the crowd was very interested in what they heard. I would like to thank all of those who came to the event, especially Gary Cyr, Mike Dussault, and Tim Walsh who came out to the ceremony, played the course, and instructed the young people on how to throw the discs properly and play the game. A picture of Mike Dussault also appeared in the Woonsocket Call last Friday as his picture was taken while he was throwing.
