Timberlink

Post by Jay Ducharme »

My wife and I were in Ligonier, PA, for a roller coaster convention at Idlewild Park. As we left the park that evening, we passed by Timberlink Golf Course. Karen is the one who noticed the poleholes dotting the landscape.

Are there many disc golf courses that have been integrated with ball golf courses? It seems like that that could cause a bit of chaos with two separate types of sports using the same playing areas.

Fly 18 is trying to make that happen. I guess getting a course built on your own is a good way to make certian the course will incorporate your own teepads.

Fascinating! But how do players avoid colliding with ball golfers? It seems like there would be a lot of problems unless the sports are kept at separate tee times.
