Re: Fantasy Football 2013
I personally think Wilson sucks.
TRich is ranked too high to try and get in a trade I think, but if you can get him I'd go for it.
I'm trying to get Giovani in most leagues. Guy is going to be a stud.

I am trying to trade for a TE. Which trade do you like?
Knowshon Moreno for Witten
Lamar Miller for Jared Cook
I was planning to start flexing Moreno but do have other options. My only TE is Fred Davis and I hate him. No one that good on waivers.

I like Miller for Cook a little better.
What about Clay? 15 targets the first 2 weeks of the season...no Dustin Keller. Could be a sleeper without having to give up a good RB

Pulled the trigger and (pending league approval) have added proven workhorse Witten to my lineup. ESPN ranks Miller 21 and Moreno 34 for the rest of the year. I would probably reverse that but they are the 'experts'. I am pretty happy with it since I still have a bunch of guys I could play at Flex (R. Wayne, J. Jones, L. Miller, G. Bernard, T. Austin, and A. Bradshaw). Yep, pretty stacked.

Horrible start this year for me. I have 4 leagues and im 0-2 in 3 of them.
. I drafted Mendenhall in every league, might not have been a good strategy. Trich also bad start.

Drafting Mendenhall in the 12th round of every league might not have been a bad strategy. Why in the hell did you target him of all people?

4 leagues, 4-0 this week. I fear that my teamin my #1 league, in which I was high point scorer, is actually very weak.

12th?, more like 3-5th. His move to Arizona moved him from a bad situation in pittsburg to a RB1 situation in Arizona if he stays healthy. Pretty hyped guy because of the change in situation and yahoo/espn generally undervalued him in the rankings. Those are ussually good targets. So far not great though.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
Yes 3-5 round is way to early for an injury prone Mendanhall on a crap team. I do have him on one team but I didnt take him until the 8-9 round and I do not have any intentions on starting him unless someone else gets injured.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
I wouldn't have bit on Mendenhall that early either. Maybe a mid/late round.
If Coby Fleener is available in any of your leagues go get him ASAP. He will be a solid TE1 now that Allen is out of the picture. Not a great matchup this week vs SF, but he will bounce back
Indy is gonna be a solid team now with the addition of TRich, an te emergence of Hilton and Fleener

Would you drop Tyler Eifert for Fleener? Owen Daniels is my other TE.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
I think I am going to crush the NEFA league this season ...
just pulled off two great trades ...
1. Julius Thomas for Reggie Wayne
2. James Starks and DeAndre Hopkins for Trent Richardson (Sax Mike and I just completed this one this morning).
2QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, 2 flex, DST, K, 7 bench, 1 point PPR and expanded scoring
QBs: Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, EJ Manuel, Ryan Tannehill (need both Manuel and Tannehill because Manning and Stafford have the same bye week
RBs: Arian Foster, Matt Forte, Trent Richardson, Ben Tate
WRs: Reggie Wayne, Marques Colston, Wes Welker, Josh Gordon, Percy Harvin
TEs: Jason Witten, Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Gates

Yes I'd take him over Eifert now. Eifert has Gresham taking targets. Allen is out if the picture in Indy. Fleener was Lucks TE at Stanford (and favorite target) and is also reunited with their OC from Stanford too I believe.

Browns are crazy. Giving up the season after 2 games basically. How about the dude that just bought season tickets? ouch. Indy is a pretty good place for Trich though. wont be sharing the ball much, more well rounded offense. Still crazy for the browns after just 2 soso games.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
Craig you make it seem like Starks' value has vaulted into top tier. He was unowned in 99% of yahoo leagues and was only added because lacy went down and he will be back next week!
Hopkins has some value regardless of AJ, but he is already coming back this week.
So a RB who has value for 1 week and a mid level WR for a stud top tier RB that just went to a much better team? C'mon man.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
love the Cris Carter reference ...
If you're dead set against it, I'll cancel it as league commissioner, but get at least two more dissenting votes ...
Mike and I will resubmit a different trade for T-Rich at that point.

i wont be vetoing. Lopsided trades are ok with me as long as there isnt collusion. Im doubting there is collusion in a free nefa league.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
its fine by me. with the scoring & positions in this league I don't think you need a typical round-1 running back on your team to win. you can cover with WR depth and 2 QBs.
Hopkins has performed both weeks, not just when AJ was hurt.

I agree Hopkins has value - never said otherwise. Ultimately it is Hopkins for TRich which is ridiculous.
This type of trade would never fly in any of my leagues and am really shocked that people are ok with it.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
I have a pretty crappy team in another league, stuck at the Flex position. I've got Ridley penciled in there, but I don't like it. My only other options are:
Roddy White (injured)
David Wilson (Coughlin hates him, Jacobs and Scott got I think 5 straight goal-line carries at one point on Sunday)
Cecil Shorts (against Seattle D - yuck)
I suppose I could also put one of extra TE's in there too, but that seems like a reach, got Clay, Eifert and Fleener (but one of those needs to go in my TE spot.
I really don't like Ridley, but hoping he may luck into a goal-line TD or 2.

I would go Lawfirm,
I have 6 players, must play 5.
WR
Megatron
Welker
Fitzgerald
RB
Starks
D. Richardson
Moreno
Thought? Currently benching Fitz because of the hammy, but it looks like he is a full go for tomorrow.
