Almost ace, sweet eagles or birds, nice shots but NOT an ACE

Also the place for aces, near aces, beautiful birdies and enormous eagles.

Hole 1 at Wick, went OB onto Tolland Tpke with the wicked wind today, and then put a Teebird in the basket from the OB tee for an OB 3. Nice way to start a round.

Hey Bunce, what hole bro, I'm thinking hole one at Wick...but most people won't know what the hell you're talking about.

It's unbelievable - he's too good. I took a 3 on 18 the second round based solely on the three best shots I threw all day.

HCC hole 16

Post by Jay Ducharme »

I was having my usual mediocre round at HCC today. I got to hole 16 and pulled the disc on my drive, smacking a tree about thirty feet ahead on the right. That left me about 170 feet to the basket, which I couldn't even see from that lie: it was hidden between trees and rocks and blocked by a grove of slender pines.

I took my Sidewinder and lobbed a sharp hyzer in the direction of the basket. I thought for sure I was either going to collide with the trees or go too deep. Then I heard a loud *CHING!* I nailed the basket smack in the middle of the chains!

Happy Easter!

League yesterday, playing dubs, I hit the 18 white basket square an inch or so low. Second time in three weeks I am inches from an ace on that hole. Same disc. I wonder what I might throw on that hole next time??

Streeter almost nailed hole 3 short at buff lefty style. Hit square, then the disc spun upright on the edge of the basket and fell the wrong way.

Hit metal on hole 5 at Panthorn on second shot, drive was ~80' ahead of the log on the right side of the fairway. Actually I had a lot of shots that round that fit under this thread... then the karma all dried up for the last 5 holes of the round

Played Holyoke today, Hole 9 along the tennis courts, shot up near the stairs, have probably a 90ft approach shot left to go, throw a nasty hyzer shot around the tree and over the parking lot....BLAMO hits basket and bounces off of it, lands 5ft away from the basket, would have been a SWEET deuce....But alas....a par.

A few weekends ago i hit the basket on hole 1 cranbury to start my round and a dog walker that was watching went nuts. It was the first time I've ever seen him.

The next weekend when i got there i saw the same dog walker on hole one. I rushed through my practice putting so i could throw before he walked by. I grabbed the same disc, stepped up, and threw it off the side of the cage. He was in shock. I was too, but i kept my cool until he left.

Later in that round i threw my buzz into the short basket on eight. That was exciting but hitting the thirty foot putt to the long pin felt even better.

At Fairfield University I birdied both the bombs near the library, the uphill and the the new one along the road. I threw my champ boss into a headwind 15 feet past the basket on the new hole along the road. First time birding them :D .

Crane Hill Craziness

Post by Eric Desmarais »

I was out yesterday and a guy in my group Mike had his drive flip over on 18 at Crane Hill.So its way over by the practice basket. Its the end of the round and we're all bustin his balls over the drive , so he says (jokingly) "thats ok ill just put it in for a duece".That bastard picks up his DX Valk and drives at the basket and DRAINS it.There's 2 or 3 other groups who all saw it and looks and shouts of disbelief from all over!!!!!!I have seen this happen time and time again and I swear it can only happen if you've only been playing for under a year!!!!!!
Then round 2 Tony Rago step up on 3 and flick's a Groove and Smashes the top of the basket!!!!!! You could feel 6 guy's holding their breath, it was great!!!!!!!!!!!
The true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love. Nice Grunt.

Big E Dog Jenkins. Hi.
