I'll be up there this week, hopefully a decent person found it and returned it, Ill check the L&F box. You sure like donating Boss's to Tully 8-)
I'd be a lot better if those trees didn't get in the way.

Be nice Sean. Remember, not everyone has a "laser rocket arm" like you and Peyton! Perhaps Herr Hayes was just deftly touching one down there trying a new type of shot when it got away from him. Heck, I've hit metal on that hole using a beat-to-crap Nuke (although it was with a tomahawk pancake skip).

Lost a yellow esp drone on 13. I must have left it behind. It would be on the left side of fairway in the small wood pile 100 feet from tee(hit a tree). Just noticed it today it wasn't in my bag. Would really like to get this back. Has my name and number on it.

funny like clock work really..thus my announcement at league this past week

warm weather means people dive for em...

long story the why it has gotten so bad..mainly due to the lack of signage or recourse follow through

I was not there..out of town..was called by a local...local grabbed a few he knew then did not want serious confrontation

well anyways for all those who think karl finds them all...he would..BUT others also DO hindering that effort

I will work on a full revamp of signage,L and F details/w my contact info..soon w/ rangers

Yesterday I threw my go to Meteor in the water on Hole#1. Told the two rangers I was going to go for a swim and they said no problem. Full on swimming in my skivies for 30 minutes. No Meteor and no other discs either.

Trespassing on federal land SHOULD bring more than just a ban from the property. Basically stealing too. Not sure when the box will be handed over.

Titan, we need an update when you get it.

ok..

so the summer rangers(avid DG'ers) busted up the scene...they got 60 back
they checked the kids ID's and gave them there actual disc back..as they did have a few of their own

the head ranger has been contacted for the entire tully/birch hill property and future recourse/actions/plans will be laid out..like hey maybe a sign..ya know cuz a sign shop is 300 ft from said lake..lol

yes it is stealing but no signage is out detailing what happens..so they were cut some slack..no ban this time

the disc are at rangers statation and perma L and F may be sorted out...yeaaaaa no more my garage hopefully..

stay tuned..as things unfold

good thing is peeps are more aware and rangers now understand the severity of the issue and the problems/tension it has been causing

TY Jeff for posting photo..60 woulda been lost forever

oh and peeps at Tullz are avengers HO's...so many avengers in the lake..lol

my issue is one day some earthy head will make it a mission to stop polluting the lake with plastic..and dyes from plastics...we all need to be aware we are littering everytime we throw one in of sorts...

my solution would be to move hole 1 from lake...let the hate me talks begin..lol

it woulda been years ago..but a certain disc vendor thought is was good for his shop..and said owner does not want L and F at shop...makes no sense..no sense no sense

I digress

Remove the signature hole at Tully?
That extra estrogen in the house must be affecting your judgment.

lol good one JW

Buff did the same...it happens

to me the view alone is cool standing on the box..as I always say just cuz something is cool we don't have to always as DG course builders "use" the cool thing..

to the right of old 2's tee..there is a neat area..I suggested years ago we cut a gap in there...before tee was installed..put tee pointing at it..then people aim away from water..yeah some may go in but not many..cool view similar shot just no big dumb swoooping water shot..and way way less hyzer outs and newb in..and no lefty or flicker would ever take that route..so no overflips and in...cut the safety hazard out..the BS out the crazy amount of Land F out..speed of play blah blah..and still again..same view same feel

there is also a swamp behind green area..that would serve aS OB..so the aspect of OB is still a threat

remember an old article posted on this site.."poison of DG course" hole 1 is a poison for a few big arms to show off at..the rest it is a big headache..started way back with the dog walkers..we just acted like such Dbags to them that they left..lol

anyways..the goal aT tully is long term sustainability and looking upwards of 15-20 years down the line...removing all safety risk..

we shall see

Nobody is a fan of change, we DisCappers know all too well with the J-Park redesign. But the result was nothing short of amazing.

My advice is that if you have the space available, flag it and put a temp target in to play and see what people think.

yeah I used to hate change myself in most cases..I am learning to embrace change now..lol

hopefully some balanced solution can be found to sum up all the issues currently at hole 1

the more ranger support the better...as it is a main attraction of the property now..and they may hopefully realize and roll with it

Agreed, you would think that after someone throws enough plastic into the lake, the alt position would seem more appealing, I'm all for retooling design when need be. Any time I shoot par at Tully and all my troops make it home is a good day, removing the water hazard on 1 won't ruin the course IMO, there are plenty of other obstacles to navigate, I would still like to see the original 1 available as an option though.

new system soonish..rangers are taking all the disc and finally gonna run it..I will get them all up there soonish

signs etc etc and blah blah will all go down..

possible leasing or course may happen..small fee to play..also in future maybe..good IMO

stay tuned

yup public free course maybe gonna be 2bucks a round 5 for the day..might get shart back to where it needs to be that way..in many different aspects
