Someone that has played more than 18 may chime in but I don't think it would be an issue as long as you had an eye on him. There are some crossing fairways, access roads going thru or along fairways, and I remember one spot where there was a 20 foot cliff down to a river. I did not bring my boys with me, but I would.
I agree. Keep an eye on him, especially on holes 2, 12, and 17 near the river. They have steep areas that drop off to the river. Other wise just play well with others and it all should be fine. We do see lots of kids and other non-disc golfers at this course and we all get along very well, and safely. so have fun and enjoy!

I brought my 3 y.o. out early this summer, and we had a blast. Do be careful as some of the tees are near other baskets, but it's a great hike in the woods for kids.
I just wanted to let the locals know that the NEDDG (New England Deaf Disc Golf Club) is having their 3rd annual doubles event at Bellamy on Sat. They always have a small group of players and they don't reserve/close courses so it's not going to prevent anyone from playing casually. Just know that if you're out there on Sat 8/20 you might see a group of players who would be happy to let you play through but they might not hear you if you call out to them.
They've invited me (disc guy from Beauty Hill) to sell discs and provide funny money so if you see a guy in a tent that's me. I'll have a couple free Beauty Hill passes and printed directions. If you haven't yet made it to Beauty Hill to play I hope I can convince you to make the ~40min trip up there. It's a beautiful & mature course with brand new teepads and baskets.
Simonds in Burlington, Ma Now with 9 signs! ...wait a minute, is this course finally completed?
i was wondering when wednesday 5:30 league will start up agian? i'm from nj but travel to portsmouth alot for work. i'd love to start playing a league while i am up there for work and dover is the closest course from me. thanks!
Wed. random doubles typically will start at 5pm early and late in the season so as to finish before dark. That being said, the doubles league will get going at 5pm as soon as we get to sunset at about 7pm. Check out the Bellamy Park disc golf page on Facebook. Folks tend to use that page to communicate more than they will here. Hope to see you out at the park soon!
Heading to York Beach this weekend, Just wondering how far away it is. Disc golf course review says that it is the closest course, also wondering how many people usually show up for Sunday league?

Nice thanks Drew, I will most likely get a round in Saturday morning with the wife before we can check into the cottage. Then I will be there for league on Sunday too.

Had a great first round at the course and the pro shop is a gem. $21 dollar "Hyzerberg Cranks" is an absolute steal. Unfortunately the snowy fairway on 1 ate my 2010 masters katana and I'd be very grateful if someone were to return it My group also lost a blue prodigy F2 and a MVP proton vector but I think they are both in the drink along the back 9
I know it is, but there's a reason we have tournament central on NEFA. I would just think that you would want maximum exposure for any tournament but especially an ice bowl for charity. I'm very excited to play tomorrow and all, I just like to see the sport grow as much as it can along the way
