The new holes are awesome!

This course is really going to be something with 18 baskets and concrete-paver teeboxes.

Please keep us posted on workdays!

Thanks to all the folks putting in sweat equity on Lufbery Hill!

After a couple of work days this weekend we have 14 finished holes with baskets (less the future tee pads).
As long as the weather holds we should have 15 and 16 ready the weekend after Thanksgiving.
Thanks to the guys who have been helping out.

Went out this AM to play the course and check out the new holes. Original 9 look great, thanks for blowing the paths and tee pads, makes it a lot easier.

Had a hard time locating new hole 8. I thought it was going to be up the hill to current 8. Didn't see tee box or basket.

Holes 10 and 11 were easy to find. I like them both. Hole 12 took me forever to locate, walked around aimlessly for a bit before stumbling onto it. Fun hole, I went Glide, Glide putt. Should of nailed the par putt (assuming it's par 3 ) but chained out right.

Gave up searching for remainding holes. Walked back to hole 1 and just played thru 5 back to car to finish the day. I'm going to have to get a tour from one of the locals to see the rest of the course.

The holes I did see are a great addition to the course. Big thanks to everyone who volunteered to get this done!

Just confirmed the date for the first tourney to be held at the Flying Ace. It will be a Vibram sponsored Birdie Bash held on April 19th.

Although the link indicates wickham (Vibram is in the process of fixing this) the 54 man/woman tournament will most certainly be at the Ace.

I heard about this new course for the first time today at Panthorn. Is it up and playable now? What's the address?

Tee box construction began last Sunday. We were able to pour hole 6 and 1. We are planning the next work day for this Sunday. It's heavy work and the boxes only get further away. Please let me know if you can stop by to help. There are plenty of other duties to tend to that don't require heavy lifting. Anyone with a pickup will be a blessing as I only have the capability to transport enough cement to satisfy one box at a time.

Hope to see you Sunday! (last statement is directed at the awesome folks who who never miss a chance to ask when the boxes will be in  )
