Our only teammate less than an hour from Crane Hill is Marco.
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that disc getting bigger?". Then it hits me.

You guys should camp out so I can drag you over to Flatrock. I'd love to come down to the Thorn and compare 2 very challanging courses. If you make the drive for Tully you HAVE to play Flatrock, it would be a wasted trip if you didn't get them both in.

I think he meant he's got a feeling he's going to ace hole 2, so there should be an ace pot, not an ace pot on hole 2.

I'm still a little confused about if this match counts. Does it only count in case of the need for a tie breaker?

It does count toward final standings... both thorn and TR have byes (thus only 4 matches for the year), we're replacing the bye month in our schedules with a real match. I think the other teams with byes have worked in official matches also, so everyone has 5 matches.

To be technical (I know, sorry  ), The match only counts towards our records in the case of a tie. Altough it does count as a match for players to qualify for finals.

Todd Lapham wrote:If two BYE teams play each other it counts for the record.

If a bye pool team plays a team without a bye, then it's not for record only for a tiebreaker or counting as a qualifying challenge for the team with a bye (max of 1 scrimmage counts as a challenge played.)

according to the 7 page clusterF rules thread i just went through to find that quote it does count for final standings. But what do i know, i'm not on the secret forum.

Todd Lapham wrote:Ties are the same as always. Head to Head and if that can't be applied then you play for it.

As for the teams with the byes, if they schedule a match vs another team with a bye, it counts for their record and essentially they don't have a bye.

this match counts. bye vs bye counts, bye vs no-bye only counts for a tiebreaker.

Its all good.

I'm planning on bringing plenty of plastic on Sunday, since we now have 8" of fresh, fluffy, disc eating stuff to contend with. I'm also hoping everyone attaches ribbons ahead of time. The tape won't stick as well if the disc is wet or cold.

Hopefully, we'll be able to drive down the driveway. Too bad we couldn't get one of the town plows to plow up and back the driveway, just so we can get the vehicles in. Even with four wheel drive, a couple of feet of snow can be tough. Maybe, if everyone brought a shovel?
