Dude, you're not negotiating with me. You can negotiate with our captain, all I did was suggest a course like many others are doing. You don't want to play us at Wickham, I understand that dude, no one wants to play us at Wickham. I'd be scared too.... and that's a fact, Jack.

We're all collectively shaking in our Delaveagas. You got us pegged, buddy.

maple is fine by me i just thought berre would be fun and its a course that a lot of people don't get out to and its a awesome course. in terms of people playing it i don't think it favors anyone. as for us having an advantage i have not played it in 3 years like most people on my team. i know maple like the back of my hand so if we want to play maple I'm all for it.

My list for finals

Challenging layout
Bathroom
Electricity
Shelter from weather
Private
Parking

Location means little, but its not my call. I am making plans for Maine or Hylands. Depending on how we do Vs the Barre/Devens/Dam team.

I do think that parking at Maple could be an issue, but otherwise, it doesn't bother me. It will favor most of the local Mass teams though.

How about we play at Hunts mean on June 23rd instead :cyclopsani:

I can create layouts utilizing the variety of holes we have that would take into account the pace of play and the skillset of the players playing.

I'll have the Unicorn Layout and The Bunny Buster ready for the C Pool (drowning pool) finals.

Awwwwwwww sh*t!!!!!!

I am having 40 tons of 3/4" stone delivered here to make the place all nice-nice.

Les, we can host a pdga NT and capacitate the parking problem. I'm sure we can host finals. Keep Hunts out of this. Ya have to be cool to play there and there are too many knob's out there

I'm just hoping it goes down in ME

OMFG YESSSSSS!!!!!!!

But, I've been busy as hell at Maple Hill since I re-opened the pro shop. This friday would be impossible.

But, I got one more left in me and a buddy named Nic that wants to go. So, I hope if there is another one, you, him and I can go smear some turns 8-)

Les packs single malt. You can only hope you get paired to play against em'. :cyclopsani:

Hey J Toothy - If West Thompson loses this weekend and does not make finals, would you consider WT for the location?

Okay so no Wick, no WT. Are you guys willing to provide any other courses as options other than Maple Hill? Only requirement being that it's not somewhere that most people have never played before.

D Mack you seem to keep trying to put the finals in your back yard and are surprised that he says no, take it to the woods of new Hampshire nobody's course is there.

Not that I care, but whats the problem with Maple Hill? Central location, great amenities, championship course, pro shop, ...

We'd think it'd be a good idea if finals were at a course that the majority of people involved have at least played before. Not that there aren't some people that have played courses in NH and VT, but most people around here don't tend to play in VT and NH very often, if ever. Nothing against courses up there I know they are beautiful, but we just don't think it's really appropriate for finals.

Pete Violet wrote:Not that I care, but whats the problem with Maple Hill? Central location, great amenities, championship course, pro shop, ...

No problem with MH. It's naturally a logical choice and we've played finals there before, would just be nice to switch it up a bit. Also, there could be 4 Mass teams at finals (i think), so basically same reason that all of you don't want to play at Wick or WT, except x4 instead of x1. :)

Just weighing all of the options is all, which at this point seem to consist of Maple Hill. We're just trying to get a feel for where else PHill would like to play.
You guys called for compromise and we're just trying to accomodate. Cool? So we're just talkin about about it....so where else we got?
