In days of old,
Before Jerel was foretold,
Disc golfers prayed to Ken Climo.
Then Jerel was created,
By firebird and thumber conjugated.
And all who threw disc erupted like a joyous volcano.
Where once we threw hyzer,
And reached backwards to throw our flyers,
We now throw overhand to park our chain baskets.
And like the phoenix reborn,
Our bags now hold firebirds sworn
To uphold the tenets of Jerel's religious pamphlets.
Before Jerel was foretold,
