So for the triples round if every team has 12 people show that is 96 total.
I'm assuming you are putting an upper limit of 6 players/hole for both rounds so the course will support 108 players.
If that's true then 2 holes will have nobody playing on them or just one triples team making a lonely circuit.
How about the idea of having slot-markers to 'block' off a hole on the scoreport? This would be based on the number of actual teams we'll have but should start with a theoretical 2.
Give a marker to the first team (Burgess) to allow them to block some hole from having starting groups on it. 2nd marker goes to Buff, 3rd (if some teams bring less then 12) to Wick, an so forth. You place it on the board whenever your team feels like it but during your turn to place a team.
The idea would be if Burgess wants to be good-guys they would block-out out the furthest walk hole for the good of everyone - or they could be more tactical and block the next hole in front of their 'best' team - allowing them to have an unimpeded flow during the round with an empty hole immediately in front of them.
It's a minor thing but will avoid having to rearrange the scoreport at the end to avoid teams playing by themselves.

It will sort itself out. Why give another team the power to block out a hole at all. I don't see why Burgess or any team for that matter can start on a hole close to tourney central AND block another team from starting on a hole close by as well. Maybe I don't see your point Pete. Let it sort itself out. If Joe wants to block out some holes as the TD, let him make that decision.

I just don't have the time or energy to provide food etc. 2 years ago at Wick I provided food and brew with each teams entry fee. It took a long time to sort that out and heck of a lot of planning. I'm asking all captains to be available to double check score cards etc at the end of each round. We will have a formal announcement as to who won CTP's and who came in what place. I would like to see all who attend to stick around for this.
I will try to find a pizza vendor in the area to be available for assistance. Does any body of a pizza joint in the area? I'm sure they would love to have 96 people buying their food.
I will keep lunch to minimum, maybe a half hour after the last group is in.
Mike D backing me up and letting me make some decisions as the TD? I like it!

I think this is what you were looking for Andy.

As a reminder top 3 doubles score counts and top two triples.
AT TULLY
Captains will place their doubles / triples teams in the order that they finished at the end of the regular season. For instance Team Burgess will place a doubles team randomly any where on the score port. Team Buff then places a doubles team randomly on the score port. We do this until all groups are accounted for. I think this will add some excitement to the beginning of the tourney. All players who are throwing for CTP's will be shoveled in at the end.
Throw discs, and forget about life for awhile...

Ok so Im late to the party here...
Is the seeding spots discussed? I couldnt find it.
I dont get how Burgess > Wick via transitive property of Burgess > Buff, and Buff > Wick, I guess I just don't think that should mean Burgess > Wick cause we never played head 2 head.
If I missed it on a different page, sorry.

yea that did get discussed, and I defintiely hear you. The rationale, as far as I remember was, you can't put Buff in 3rd behind Wick, because Buff beat Wick at Wick. And Buff can't be ahead of Burgess bc Buff lost to Burgess. The whole dialogue must be somewhere in there though. Definitely seems like transitive property...nice usage
See it. Be it.
