I'd actually advise holding off Wick for a little while - there have been some houligans hanging out at night and we've found evidence of some paintball activity and broken beer bottles etc. (Newcastle and ST Pauli's) - A cop was called in last week 'casue some kid hurt himself folling around @ onw of the gardens - it's prompted possibility of a few night patrols.

The thorn's cool with me. I'd prefer to hit hero's in the daylight for the first time playing, but that's just me.
The back door to Panthorn is take exit 30 off I84, head towards the ski area on marion ave, take the third left which is just after a tiny deli onto Wonx Spring Rd. Go through the stop sign to the end, and park in the cul de sac. The trail to the park is right at the end of the road. My parent's place is the yellow house on the right of the trail. It's faster then the main entrance.

last night, 4 morons (er, "players") went out to brave whatever Hurricane Hanna had in store for Manchester and got in a round of Glo at Wickham... Webb, Alto, Sax, and McHale. In that same order, scores came off the course at +11, +13, +20, and +21. Solid shooting by Webb considering the conditions, we were all soaked to the bone before we even made it halfway to 8's tee from Marco's. While we didn't play a "speed" round, the constant rain kept the group moving and we finished in a glo-record time of 90 minutes too.
Perhaps the highlight of the night was watching Sax and Webb each do a carbomb at the bar right before we went out to play, with two middle-aged couples intently watching them having no idea what these "kids" were up to with shot glasses and half-full glasses of beer. I even heard one of the women say to her partner at the bar after they had done them, "well that's the first time I've seen THAT"; I heard the bartender begin explaining the drink to both couples as we walked out of the place.
