That being said, good luck with the points thing.

Me a techno-geek?? Not hardly, LOL........ this forum basically runs itself and the admin stuff has a pretty well defined "book" of instructions. That's the extent of my techno-brains.

So this thread has splintered into several different directions and I'd suggest if you want to keep the conversations on track, to start a thread somewhere else to keep things on point. I've got to leave for school shortly so very quickly ...

Not a bad idea at all Steve but it's way beyond my level of comprehension so it would be cool to set up some kind of sub-committee to investigate that kind of thing to see if it could/would be viable. I'd have to defer to those who know better than me on this one though.

We're trying to reduce the workload on Dave. I think I addressed that earlier, I'm expecting to hear back from him later when the point series is over and done with for the year so that we can begin talking about next year.

My life changed significantly on February 20th this year when I slipped and fell on the ice at the Buff Ice Bowl which resulted in a badly fractured leg, resulting in surgery, and 6 months of rehab 2-3 times a week. Those who have been through that kind of rehabilitation know what kind of time, energy, and pain that takes and I appreciated all of the folks who have cut me a little slack this year because of that. My focus was lost when this happened and what little focus was left, went to a much larger issue NEFA is dealing which I referenced earlier.

We've maintained just fine, have done a few cool things in the interim, while looking out for NEFA's long term viability -- there's much room for improvement and I'm sure new leadership will take us there in the not so distant future.

Kyle Stevens wrote:What about the RI states 2x points event?

There was no RI 2x event on the schedule, and no results were ever submitted for one if it happened http://www.nefa.com/Events/default.asp?year=2011

Kyle Stevens wrote:AM2 Newton and DnD points are blank

Newton points have been fixed, thanks. DnD had no NEFA members in attendance (at least according to the results submitted) since no NEFA #'s were reported for any AM2 players with those results, so I'm not sure what you are expecting to see for that event.

Kyle Stevens wrote:Matt Duquette took 2nd place at Village but no points to reflect.

I don't even see Duquette in the results for Village, period, let alone see an issue where he didn't get the points that he should have for that tournament http://www.nefa.com/Events/eventView.asp?eventID=347

Yep, I was wrong. It wasnt Matt. Too many tourneys jumbled together in my head. Apologies.

The RI States was billed as a NEFA 2X event. Here is the link to the forum post...first post..8 lines down. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=8521&start=0

I also contacted T.M. Dyer confirming this. He responded Aug 24th. The following is his response.

Hey Kyle,

This is a NEFA 2X event....also PDGA X-tier...

Yes... the registration fee for all divisions is $23.00 online prior to the event...if not a current PDGA member add $10.00...

$25.00 day of...if not PDGA add $10.00...

Sponorship of tees is $25.00...

I am working on getting the course all mowed and tricked out for the event...

Rythym and Roots is live music on Labor Day Weekend...you can play disc golf on the front nine and listen to live music while you play...

Thanks for the interest...

RI States are in
Burke View is in
NH States are in
Barre BBQ is in

Streamside & Lavalee are both outstanding. If someone knows the TD, now is the time to hound them.

That brings the series 100% up to date other than those two events, and this weekend's tourney at Borderland. If people see any issues with their own points, please PM me so that I can take a look. I know the Committee will want to get invites sent out as soon as possible after Buff, so once those points and the standings are considered "final" there's not much we can do afterward!

Yes he did. I double checked all members numbers.

Dave, there does seem to be 0 points throughout the results. I may have altered the spread sheet in some way that has screwed up the results (things may be one column off). I will put the results in a fresh spread sheet and resend.

Sorry for the trouble.

Maybe this helps. Looks like this event was originally scheduled to be a PDGA event, but I couldn't find anything on the PDGA results page. I did find this info however:

Sheesh, doesn't anyone use the phone anymore?

Borderland Fall Finale is submitted. That leaves only the Streamside/lavalee events which may or may not have been points events, as near as it sounds anyone can tell.

Many past "what # did they get in the division" issues have been rectified, thanks to Rick Williams for his impeccable attention to detail. I do not believe that any of those updates affected any points that people received, but it's possible. Regardless, points are now being awarded as they SHOULD be for where those issues existed.
