Why do you have 3 QBs that's just wasted bench space.

Its a waste of roster spots if you have Rodgers... unless you have Vick, Peyton Manning, or Rivers. Start Rodgers every week and drop Dirty Sanchez.

I had Rodgers, Brady, and Ryan. Dropped Ryan.

Starting Brady this week over Rodgers...not sure if i'm making the right call there

You're not.

Brady is like #12 on QB lists this week. Look for the Pats to play ball control. Look for Rodgers to give a big FU to Minny and Brett Favre, Minny has mailed it in, that game could be a shoot-out.

Not playing Brady last week wasn't a wise choice. I went with Fitzpatrick over Brady just because of the match-ups. Whoops...

It's not blind-faith/being a homer with Brady otherwise I would have started him last week.

What?!?!?! He always KILLS the Steelers!

Wow!

Brady career vs. Pitt:

173/255 2008 YDs 15 TD 3 INT in 7 games, 6-1 Record in those games. Rating north of 100.

Averages 68% completion, 286 yards per game, 2 TD's/0 INT.

He KILLS the Steelers and you didn't start him! Whoa.

Which WR do I roll with this week?

D.Jackson
Welker
Woodhead
Branch
Jordy Nelson (putting up consistent numbers the past few weeks)
Royal

Jackson is a definite, and i'm thinking Branch and Nelson.

I can throw a 4th receiver in the flex spot, but that means I'd have to sit either Best, Foster, or Bradshaw.

I could also opt to go with a 2 TE set and play Cooley and Tamme, in which case I'd be starting 3WR 2RB 2TE...not sure I like that too much.

Thoughts?

After the cleveland game, Brady vs pittsburgh didn't look as juicy as Fitzpatrick (who has been $$$) vs Detroit...

Why can't people realize that just b/c a player looks bad one game, that they can turn it around the next week, especially against a team that historically he kicks the crap out of???

Gotta admit, I made the same mistake, though starting Gerrard over Brady wasn't the end of the world, Brady would've netted me just enough more points to defeat my opponent last week. He had Maclin and Cooley and I had DeSean Jackson...I was up by 2pts heading into Monday nighter and lost by 2.5pts...worst part of all, a win would've given me 2nd place in points and tie for best overall record, now I'm in a logjam for 3rd.

I hear what you're saying here about histories between 2 teams; however, I wasn't confident in the Pat's WR corps against Pittsburg's stingy D..despite Brady's history vs the Steelers..nor did I have any faith in the running game. It was a tough decision to make and well...hindsight's 20/20

Need advice on starting QB this week: Peyton Manning or Matt Ryan? I know most will probably say "Manning you idiot" but he's been looking less than stellar over the last few games while Ryan's been lighting it up and he's going up against the Ram's D

up by 29.48 and he still has Rivers and Gates to go. Not looking too good...even if Gates doesn't play

EDIT: What's fustrating is that D.Jackson was soooo close to make some HUGE plays last night that could have easily put my game out of reach...

Need some suggestions for this week...ppr league

Jahvid Best hast officially lost his starting job on my team and will most likely be riding the pine for the rest of the year (so sick of him sucking)

This opens up my flex spot for one of the following:

Branch @ Detroit (already have welker and woodhead in the lineup)
Hartline @ Oakland
Goodson @ Cleveland
Cooley vs Minnesota

WR's already in lineup: D.Jackson, Welker, Woodhead
RB's already in lineup: Foster, Bradshaw
TE already in lineup: Tamme

I can start a W/R/T in my flex spot. Anyone???

Leaning towards Goodson or Cooley...

I would play Best or pick someone up off waivers. I was somehow able snag Manningham off waivers this morning in one of my leagues.

Best is out. Even if he wasn't out...I still wouldn't play him...he's awful right now.

There is no one out there besides Nate Burleson (not a bad play this week vs Pats secondary and has put up decent numbers the past 4 or 5 games.

He's the only one I would consider starting over any of the options I have. You really would go waiver wire over any of those options I gave????

The only viable ones would be Goodson or Cooley...Hartline is a total hit or miss, especially now with Thigpen in there at QB. Goodson's been on a bit of a roll lately but that game is in Cleveland. Cooley's not exactly a top tier TE but he'll get ya some points. Burleson would be a good pick up this week...Thanksgiving home game ....ya know the Lions will be fired up and Burleson's had a decent year...Megatron will draw the double coverage, leaving Burleson as a threat. Pats secondary is getting better at turnovers but is still quite weak against the pass..especially on 3rd down conversions...one of the worst in the league at stopping those

pick up Burleson and drop Hartline?

Or do I bite the bullet on Ryan Matthews and drop him for Burleson?

I could also drop Eddie Royal...

EDIT: Dropped Garrard and added Burleson. Will most likely play him this week too

I didn't realize Best was out. Burleson is not a bad option versus the Patriots poor pass defense. He may get a TD and should get 5-7 targets.

If you lived through the pain of watching Miami's last game you wouldnt even think of touching ANYONE on that team! :pukel: If Thigpen plays like that again, he should be drawn and quartered (or at least never play a game in the NFL again!)
