so if we play maple hill i think we should have Tolland pick one layout and Phill pick the other. But time might be an issue so it would prob be white and red. gold and blue might take to long.

how about.... top six Bpoolers play singles on Whites at Maple Hill, while bottom six play doubles on P-Mids gold. top six, enjoy their lunch at the Maple Hill pro shop, bottom six at P-mids. after luch everyone switches. each will have there own respective wrap-ups and then we get to together and party like hell.

in this scenario both courses see a good amount of players, possibly justifying closing for the day with greens fees and disc sales.

discuss.

This is something productive. I'm actually proud of you, DMack. You're making strides toward being somewhat ethical in front of our very eyes.

Ok, I'll take it to my team, some things gotta be ironed out for sure, but I like the scenario so far.

It's tentative until my team gives me a green light

Nothing for nothing but DMack is right that you are talking about taking the finals to a course that is local to most of the mass teams (Maple Hill). I don't think that Jeff (Alto's) idea of playing Barre Falls was far from the mark. These aren't courses we get to play very often. But you guys are talking about playing Maple Hill and one of the teams is team Maple Hill after all. Great course, no doubt, one of the best, but that does kind of stack things a bit. Like DMack said, you bring in 4 teams that play in that locale regularly and that is hardly fair to us, even with layout changes, etc. Is there another course that could be considered ? I think Hyland would be a great choice in that they just changed their layouts and I know that none of us have been up to try them out yet. lots of parking, brewery and did i say Brewery, how about a brewery ? Not much farther to travel vs. Maple. Maybe it takes an additional 15 minutes travel. The new layouts are supposed to be kickin'. They have a great outdoor pavilion for partying. I'm pretty sure they could accomodate us at a moments notice. Just spitballin' here. Or another course, TBD. Anyway, i think we all want to do what's best here. I sure don't want to throw the monkey wrench into the works, but just trying to offer suggestions like DMack here (fellow teammate). Hoping for a good outcome. Cheers !

les that would be cool to play hylands but A pool is the same day unless we do ours on that sunday.

so the question becomes pro shop vs brewery? :o

Les- maple hill might not be in the top six, so not contending for the top two spots....maybe. remember bottom six are just playing for fun.

IF..maple is in the bottom six, the bottom six captains would have to be OK with playing on Maples turf. i would understand if they did end up in the top 6 that you wouldn't want them to feel to comfortable at home......but since they lost to the Dam team, it looks like they would be in the bottom 6....tie breaker and all.

maple and p-mids are the mecca of disc golf. everyone has played there enough times that advantages mean nothing. there aren't any local knowledge routes i'm aware of. comes down to skill.

1.We WIN simple (TT still has to loose 1st)
2. This isn't about $$$ and pay to play.
3. If TT looses we have EARNED the right for the rest of the league to travel

4. Steve WTH do you care about the B pool any way? Wait is it cause you miss it? It is isn't you just want to play in the B pool again.
can't wait to see what you say to this

First of all this may be the most entertaining thread ever... Sorry if someone else pointed this out but LOSE is when a team doesn't win ... LOOSE is what the female livestock are in Maine ... That being said I remain unaffiliated as I am on a 0 and 4 team... Please continue this entertaining banter... That is all

Team Challenge = 6 months = 180 days

6 days of disc.

174 days of Bullsh!t.

Let's make the sixth day kickass. The right people should approach the right people here...

I think the idea of Marshall Street B pool finals is superfantastic. Yup no local routes.

We are making plans to go to Maine. If Tolland wins and they have a say in finals location and it could be anywhere. Maybe Maple, maybe Barre, maybe Wickam. Those are all easy to plan for.

The everyone at Marchall street idea does not seem reasonable. Sounds like a nightmare.

Hi Jon. I think the date is already pre-set for Saturday regardless of location so you may want to put the request in early.
