Re: Fantasy Football 2013
Probably could have kept Gordon as depth, but I honestly don't think I would have used him as anything other than a bye week replacement.
I feel that S-Jax will come back strong after the Falcons' week 5 bye, and I like having the Texans and Falcons running back corps locked up.
...
Deep 10-team 2 QB league. Pick two QBs: Peyton, Eli, Manuel, Locker, Palmer. Peyton is a must start. Just not sure if I should go Eli or Manuel.

Drop Richardson.
I'd go Manuel, I'd try and trade every NYG on my team(s).

I give: Foster, Boldin, Royal (FA pickup)
I get: Julio, Olsen (2 TE league and I don't have a 3rd on bench), Pierre Thomas
Trade was vetoed. Pretty even trade that we both discussed/negotiated for a little while because he was reluctant to trade Julio.

Sounds like a hater veto league. What justification, if any, did they have?

Right?! I laid out all the numbers for them and how it impacted each team. There was no reason to veto other than them fearing one of our teams being too stacked, or just hating because we had the stones to pull of a big deal like that.
There was one response (by the commish) that said he veto'd because he felt like the other player wasn't getting good enough value for Jones. After going back and forth (me bringing logic and numbers to the table - him saying that it was just the way he "felt") he got upset about me using the language "butt-hurt" and me calling the league "ladies".
I told him to find another manager and I left the league haha

I had an enormous week in Fantasy. Ask Mike D.
My big money league has been around for about 10 years and I beat the all time weekly high score by 10 points.

I'm glad no one listened to me during the pre-draft when I suggested $20 pp. Too late now

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
Alright, i'd like to get some opinions...
Regular Yahoo League 1 QB 2 RB 2 WR 1 TE 1 Flex 1 K 1 DEF
I've had a strong start at 4-0 but drafted Steven Jackson and Darren Mcfadden who are both hurt now and not sure what I can do to replace or just hold out until they are healthy again.
Here is who I currently have playing:
Peyton/ Wes Welker/ Hakeem Nicks (sucks, i know)/ Lesean McCoy/ Knowshon Moreno/ Antonio Gates/ Mike Wallace/ Blair Walsh/ New England
Bench: Martellus Bennett/ Tavon Austin/ Sam Bradford/ Steven Jackson (hurt)/ Darren Mcfadden (also now hurt)
I think I have the best lineup possible in right now, but any suggestions/sleepers that might be available to pick up would be appreciated...

PPR league,
Was offered RB Jags MJD, and TB RB Martin
for Wes Welker
I am really hurting at RB and thought this might be worth a look.
Thoughts?

I think that is a good trade for you Mike. You are in need of RBs. Martin for Welker straight up would probably be fair and you get MJD as a throw in. Plus, you have two better WRs than Welker on your team.

I agree that I have two better WRs then Welker, but in that offense and being PPR, Welker might just be the best WR option out there.
Thanks for the feedback Matt, I might take the deal if it is still an option.

Unless I give him a sweeter offer.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
Was offered the same (MJD and Martin) for Dez Bryant. I declined due to the fact it is a PPR league and neither of those RBs gets more than 2 to 3 catches per game. I think it was definitely the right move for you though Mike. Maybe next time we play you can keep it close.

Funny that I was third highest in points scored, but still lost by over 40 points...

Also funny how you are 3rd in points in the league of 12 after week 4 and have a losing record. Your team will come around. Having a little extra juice at RB will definitely help.

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
What do you think I should roll with here? Need 1 WR in addition to Wayne and Decker, 2 RB, TE, 2 W/R/T. Bold is what I currently have in.
WR: T-Austin vs JAX, Pettis vs JAX, Hopkins vs SF
RB: T-Richardson vs SEA, Woodhead vs OAK, Rodgers vs NYJ
TE: Gates vs OAK, Thomas vs DAL, Fleener vs SEA

RB: T-Richardson vs SEA, Woodhead vs OAK, Rodgers vs NYJ

Re: Fantasy Football 2013
Eric I'd go with what you have in there (Jax sucks so Austin should be able to do something for ya), I do like Fleener vs Sea. too though (I'm starting him this week over Daniels), they have been getting smoked by tight ends. Fantasy pros likes Hopkins just a bit more than Austin, but Austin has the higher projections.
