You just pulled out a Gilbert Grape reference? I mean its a classic, but interesting choice...did they structure the character of arnie after you? I guess I can see the resemblance.

so it looks like with all members of the team coming from different directions we are going to change our meeting place to somewhere closer to devens so were all planning to meet at Rapid Refill in Devens near the course so we can all roll in as a team. The address is Rapid Refill Devens
4 Andrews Parkway, Fort Devens, MA 01434-4017

I played sh*tty.
You could say the team played sh*tty.
They beat us at Devens.
I'm going to practice more, because I do not want a repeat performance at our next match.

We should try to get as many of us as we can to practice some doubles teams on the gold and just overall group practice

Yeah, like tomorrow on the Red course for some sort of league offering.
If anyone wants to play a round this week on the golds, maybe doubles for some practice, let me know.
I can probably do it tuesday or wed. before noon.
Just gotta practice. Not f'ing off practice either.
Maybe we need to practice with money involved. Maybe we scrimmage a team?
We could use the practice and a scrimmage would be great.

I know there is animal fest this weekend so everyone won't be able to make it but I'm thinking that a little practice is in order. So I was hoping to get some folks together at maple for 10 tommorow and we could play some either match play or dubs. I want to say bring 10 bucks because the only way to simulate pressure is to put something on the line

I could potentially drag myself and 1 or 2 others up there by 10am. We'll surely be better than your best doubles team...at drinking before noon.

I think we accomplished this goal. The greatest accomplishment in all of this, in my opinion, is that Maple's women stand united together in first place on the gorgeous point series plaque that'll hang in the Sap House! It's the only name plate of its kind.
