How about combined team weight? Lowest weight wins.

I think I automatically give WT an advantage

I don't know. Burgess has a bunch of teeny people. I am far and away the heaviest on Burgess @ 250. I have atleast 30 pds on Todd. The next biggest. Everyone else is sub-180 I bet. Also we likely have 5 guys sub 150.

Titan, There wont be any need for a tiebreaker if you and Maple Hill both win out, or both lose your last match. You beat them head to head, TullyRock will be in the A pool finals and Maple will be top dog in the B pool. So if you guys beat NOHO, your in the A pool, congratulations!!!!!!

well..what about "IF" Dam team spanks west t and they finish 4-0..has to hold some weight..as JW pointed out..it may hold more..although strength of schedule is totally different between them and us...IMO...

oh and both teams still have to go through NoNo

Wow, didnt see that. They would be in, too f'n funny!!!!! How much will you pay us to throw the match Titan?

Re: 2010-11 Team Challenge Rules/Guidelines

so if maple hill beats woodland valley.....

and dam team wins out

and TR wins last match

then we have

MH 4-1..correct..?
TR 4-1
WV 4-1
Dam 4-0

how would that work..? dam team in then the other 3 play it off..since are head to heads would be WV>TR>MH>WV and dam team no head to head with any of them...or if WV beats MH..then we have

WV 5-0
TR 4-1
Dam 4-0

would it be dam team and TR playing off...I spoke with Tasty he will not play us..he is pissed we played Panthorn instead of them...although IMO..I think we just schedule it for tie breaker purposes ahead of time...

and IMO 4-1 is same as 4-0 in value...

Todd...? lots to think about

In Most leagues this is how it would go

4-0 is in, period.
4-1 teams are tied

Tie breakers-
head to head (still tied)
common opponents (still tied)
Strength of schedule (Win pct of teams you beat)
Then finally a playoff

so WV 5-0 and Dam 4-0 those would be your A pool teams..? IMO Dam teams opponents win % is weak..!

Is it just me or shouldn't all the teams being considered at least have played the same amount of matches to determine overall record?

I agree...BUT...there are only so many teams with a bye...I think they all scheduled matches...leaving one odd team...the DAM team nobody to play a 5th match against...I think

so the best they can possibly do is 4-0.....unless I missed a bye team that has not played a bye team..that they could play..that they have not already played....

confusing

so 4-0 must hold some weight..if not more then 4-1...

tough call...glad I don't gotta make it..!
