Hartline has gotten a lot of targets over the last several weeks and has actually put up fairly decent numbers in a ppr league. With B.Marshall potentially out, Hartline's looks would no doubt increase (as would Bess's who I think D's see as more of a threat). Against the Raiders, Hartline could be poised for a big game.

Burleson is the front runner for the flex spot though. As far as his targets...he should get a lot more than that. Pats will probably double up on Megatron, and should be forced to pass with not much of a running game. In the last 4 games, Burleson has put up 7 catches (not looks) 3 times and 4 catches in the other game.

One of my RB slots is a mess this week. I've got Foster and he always starts.....other choices are to risk it on Reggie Bush, Cedric Benson or Donald Brown for my other spot. There isn't any other RBs that are worth a pickup. Vincent Jackson is back for me this week tho!

Hartline is a risky option compared to Goodson. Goodson torched the Ravens last week for 120yds and he pulled int 5 catches for 31yds. Chances are he will roll again this week since he is their best offensive weapon right now. Now Hartline is dependent on his QB(whoever that is this week). If the QB only puts up 160 yds then Hartline will most likely get squat for numbers. Goodson all day!

I'm in a tough spot for a receiver this week.

Branch, Royal, or Bess?

Bess over Royal. I don't like Branch this week. So maybe you should play Branch then

Branch is likely to get Revis, so, I hate that matchup. Royal SUCKS.

So Bess is your best bet against CLE.

I'd play Royal. Gotta play the matchup. He's the number 2 guy this week and the Chiefs suuuuuck at defending recievers. He had 74 yrds with a TD last week against a better D.

Bess has been a lot more consistent this season. If it's a ppr league, definitely play Bess.

Royal blows...I finally cut him last week (of course he scores a TD)

In other news: Foster = Australian for POINTS! Drafted him in the 7th round of my keeper league this year, which means when I freeze him, I only lose a 7th round pick! CHAAAA-CHING!

I hated Foster this year because I got burned by Slaton last year. I picked up Stewart before Foster and that has killed me all year. What the heck happened to those Panthers? They blow monkey choad.

He's cursed though. He's a Texan RB.

Watch. He'll fall right in line with Domanick Williams. Steve Slaton. They are cursed. Oh yeah, Ben Tate comes back next year too. He'll be splitting carries, a second round pick just doesn't sit on the bench... if anything, he'll take runs away at the goal line 5-11 225 pound bruiser.

It doesn't matter if Tate comes back...Foster in the 7th round is $$$$.

Your'e telling me you wouldn't take Foster in the 7th round next year if he was available just because he's a Texans Rb and Ben Tate is coming back??? C'MON MAN!

HATE HATE HATE

Having Foster to start is like having a 1st round draft pick already in my back pocket to start.

Just sayin, he's not going to be as productive and Houston has a trend of losing star RB's after 1-2 good seasons.

Just sayin. It's in the cards, he's going down. Or Tate's taking over.

No guarantee's or "mark my words"??? :D

And it's fine if he's not as productive...I wouldn't expect that type of production from a 7th round pick anyways

Houston's offense runs through Foster now. They used to be pass first...not anymore. I don't see that changing unless he gets seriously injured.

ding ding.

Just like Slaton and Williams before him.

Plus Ben Tate a highly touted 2 rd pick, (if he didn't get hurt, likely their starter) will be back next year.

Just don't see why the fact that the players before him got injured has ANYTHING to do with him getting injured...but hey...that's your gut and I can't mess with that.

Now-a-days, unless your a stud RB, your shelf life is 2-3 years max. Just sayin.

Look how many backs have had long careers lately... and solid numbers? That weren't drafted early.

Even look at backs that were drafted early.. ever wonder why Belichick never spends high picks on RB's..? duh.. durability and cost...

Good points.

Who would you start this week: Chris Johnson or Ahmad Bradshaw?

I got Hillis and Forte going at RB and W/R respectively, not sure what to do about the 2nd RB slot. I think both Johnson and Bradshaw have favorable match ups this week but Johnson's been getting swallowed up by defenses all season and Bradshaw's been more consistent points wise, with the exception of a severe case of season long fumble-itis

Advice?

It's not like I signed the guy to a 10-year mutli-million dollar fantasy contract  I'm freezing him for 1-year in my keeper league in the 7th freakin round...doesn't matter what you say...99.99999% of fantasy owners would agree with me that Foster in the 7th round is a steal....you being the .000001% that seems to not think so.

Besides...I don't need anymore than 2-3 years of solid numbers from him (this year and next year)

Until he's cursed by the Texans curse.

And next year his value may be that of a 7th rounder anyways, splitting carries with Tate.

Very true, but having quality options heading into the playoffs is quite nice ...I'm currently in 3rd but the first place team just lost Gore for the season!..woohoo!
