Re: B-Pool finals locale scenarios
Maybe the two captains could submit 3-5 courses each to Todd. He can compare lists and then see where the common ground is.

With that many people involved, it would require some advanced planning with the park. Also, I don't think you would be able to close the course for this purpose, and there will likely be a lot of people out there. I've haven't seen a course as crowded with general play as Borderland is getting, since I was last at Golden Gate park in San Fransisco.

Someone told me there's a girl out there, with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair... true?
My thoughts were similar, Matt. Tully seems legit, but I've not played there but once and obviously not in the months approaching summer traffic...

Is Cogshall Park playable yet? And if it is, is it a good enough course for finals?

Mike,.doesn't the fact that you had to ask the first question most likely answer the second question? :

Re: B-Pool finals locale scenarios
It is nice to throw a coggs reference in this thread anyway, since it reads more like a list of courses in NEFA land than a discussion moving towards choosing a location.
Ten bucks that the "contingency plan" is not worked out before Friday.

Ultimately it is between PHill and TT. Everyone else is out of the planning. Let it be.

Its good to get feedback from the other teams. It'll be a boring as finals if the course that is picked is far from most teams and they show up with 5 guys.
I thought B Pool was all about throwing a kickass party at the end of the year that isn't too be taken very seriously. Big ol' "Welcome back Spring" type party, or did I miss the memo that we're all back on the serious side now?

Agreed that eveyone else is out of the planning. Another way of saying it is "no one else can make plans and everyone is being held hostage while we wait for progress. "
When it IS, then I will let it BE.
And its not just players. Course owners/ operators need sufficient notice.

Re: B-Pool finals locale scenarios
I am very impressed that Pleasant hill feels confident enough in their game that they are willing to put finals in what is being described as our back yard.
Its not, most of us play at Maple Hill sparingly, but they are still game.

pHill can play and toss bombs.
Maple Hill is a championship venue designed from day one to host championships.
Tully is one of my favorite courses in New England, hands down.
Lobster is sooooooo tasty!!!

Re: B-Pool finals locale scenarios
Why has nobody suggested Buff as a location? Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't Team Buff 2-3 and officially out of contention?
