I should have gone with Branch over Bess, but oh well I still crushed this week.

Clinched the 2nd seed officially and my lineups for week 1 of the playoffs are awesome. Championship here I come!!

I ended my regular season 6-7. I made the playoffs as the sixth seed after sneaking in due to a five team tie breaker. Got 25 from CJ tonight vs Peyton and Wayne who got 37.1. Let's go Sunday!

My work league I ended the reg season 11-2. Players playing Sunday.

Nice!...CJ finally had a good game! I was wrestling between starting CJ last night or putting in Forte for Sunday's game..luckily, I made the correct choice and started CJ Already got Bradshaw & Hillis in the other RB slots. Currently in 3rd place (9-4) taking on 6th place in 1rst round of playoffs.

10-3 in other league with a first round bye..first place.

Good for you Drew, good luck!....I need Eli to score 24.4 points to win my game. I'm hoping the indoor neutral site will help him along with having Steve Smith back. The fantasy gods were on my side today as my opponent had Greg Jennings who was limited due to Rodgers going down as well as the Charles/Jones combo from KC who were up against the Chargers who shut them down. Brandon Lloyd and Miles Austin weren't much of a help. I left Gates in and he didn't play but the opposition had Ben Watson who got 0.8 Bring on Monday.

Crushed it for the first week of playoffs...Brady once again with a huge game. Opposition had Aaron Rogers and Greg Jennings...DOH! Up by 30+ pts with Bradshaw, Tynes and Balt defense to go. Opp's got Derrick Mason....SEE YAAH!

Thank god my 11-2 team gets a two week playoff, my team got crushed, I got AP tonight, but to be down by almost 100 137-44 after week one, I gotta hope that AP goes off tonight to bring me within striking distance...

Need Schaub to get 12.19pts and I back my way into the final playoff spot in my money league.

He's scored less than 12pts 5X this season

I'm out of the money. I needed 24.4 from Eli and didn't get it. I got stomped in my work league. In my work league I will play the same opponent for two weeks. It is a Yahoo league. I think Solbo is in the same type of league is that what you were saying in your previous post.

Got the #1 seed in my league with the 26 pts from him this week. I have him, vick and foster ready to roll. Keep in mind that the last week some of your stars might get benched and prepare for it.

I was down 149.20 - 61.40 with Matt Schaub, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson and Anquan Boldin yet to play on MNF last night. When all was said and done, the TD from Schaub to AJ and the ensuing 2-pt. conversion in the final minute of play gave me the win.

(and for the record, I drafted Arian Foster in the 12th round when we drafted at the end of July and when practically nobody knew about him)

Looking for thoughts/advice. Playing the first place team in the first round of the playoffs.

PPR League

QB: Brees vs BAL but have Garrard vs Indy

WR: Welker, Woodhead, Branch, Hester, DeSean Jackson.
Can start 4 if I want to (only 2 RB if that's the case). Going AGAINST Tom Brady.
leaning towards starting all 3 patriot WR (last week Brady got 26pts - Branch had 30, Welker had 20, Woodhead 11)

RB: Foster, Bradshaw, Jacobs, Best, Matthews, Goodson
Can start 3 if I put in flex (only 3 WR if that's the case).
leaning towards Foster, Bradshaw, Goodson

TE: Tamme or Cooley
I played both last week...big mistake. Both had their worst games of the year.

K = Janikowski
DEF = ATL
IDP = London Fletcher (try to pick players on teams with struggling offenses going against good offensive teams)

Thoughts?

My first thought is that you are a Homer. Welker, Branch, and Peacock. Really?

My second thought is that you short at RB and should obviously start Foster and Bradshaw as they are your only top guys.

Tamme is a must play.

Given that had the unfortunate luck of not being able to pick up Brady  and are forced to play against him, I would play Welker, Jackson, and Branch.

If you get to start one more, I would probably go live or die and play Peacock. Go Pats. :bom: :eye:

I drafted (froze) Welker. Picked up Woodhead halfway through the season and have started him almost every week...and he has been EXTREMELY serviceable in the WR/RB role (minus one or two games). Branch I picked up the second he was traded. Nothing homerish...just the way it worked out, and a wise pick-up too.

The fact that he has Brady going makes me want to start all 3. A 25 yard pass gets Brady 1pt, vs the 3.5 my WR/RB would get from catching that pass.

So you're saying start Branch, Welker, and Jackson @ WR, Foster and Bradshaw @ RB, Tamme @ TE. What about the flex spot? Woodhead, Gooson (juicy matchup vs ARI), Jacobs (turning it on as of late) Best and Matthews I think are out of the equation.

Hester is a sneaky play, as we get points for KR/PR yards.

decisions decisions...

My initial thought was Brees, The Pats trio @ WR, Foster and Bradshaw, Tamme, and D.Jackson or Mike Goodson in the flex.

Homerific Pats Roster!

I don't think I have a Pats player in either of my leagues.

If you are starting Woodhead for more than situational spots, your team has been in trouble for a while.

Not really...Finished 2nd in points. Woodhead put up some solid numbers this year (when I played him)
I also went up against the most points in the league. I did the numbers and would have had AT LEAST 8 wins with any other teams schedule in my league.

I finished 7-7 (yes...7-7 and 2nd in points)...schedule screwed me.

Woodhead is in the top 35 for pts by WR

Top 27 for pts by RB

He was a SOLID fantasy pick-up in my league...

He was barely on the field with the Jets...so he put up those numbers/rankings in 2/3 season with the Pats.

I finished one league second in points and did not make the playoffs. Meanwhile, the team with the second least points is in the playoffs and was actually in first until the last week of the regular season when Fantasy Brier finally took over the top spot. I got to play that team twice in the regular season. Crushed them once and lost the other game by 0.16 points. That was the difference. DOOOH!

I had VJax on two of my teams at various points of the season waiting for him to become a starter. Unfortunately someone else had picked him from waivers by 930 when I went to get him.

I had Rivers and SD DEF last night in the only league I made the playoffs in though so I am off to a nice 40-0 lead!

Dude,
Pick up Joe Webb rookie QB for the Pack! He will be the QB for the GB packers most likely, and he fits in the WR flex spot. Sneaky points from a WR no doubt.

Worth a shot anyway.

Only available at QB in my league.

The guy I'm playing had Malcom Floyd in the lineup last night. Makes me feel a little better about not having jackson in
