#240 why I love this sport.
Getting to know someone by the discs they throw and the stories you share.
Rather than by the jobs they have and the money they make.

#239: Knowing that every year I'm getting older, the aches and pains creep in to areas I have no idea existed, and disc golf seems to take away 99% of the stiffness. Miracle cure, you bet.

#232
Only a disc golfer understands this: While doing yard work you come across a discarded bucket lid so you naturally pick it up and chuck it. As it hyzers out hard to the left you think, Ha. That thing's pretty stable. Then you start comparing it in your head to actual discs. Then you start thinking about how you used to throw a certain stable disc but took it out of the bag because it was too much disc for you. You then try to convince yourself that your arm speed and technique have improved since then so you say to yourself, I bet I could get that thing to stand up now. So of course the disc goes back in the bag and you pull it out during your next round and chuck it. And as you watch it hyzer out hard to the left you think, Ha. That thing's pretty stable. The circle of life.
