Speaking of which, when Joe put this together, it was under the guise of a team defending its' home turf against outsiders. Home matches are key IMO.

Heen when you live in Millbury, and your home course is in Marstons Mills, I can see how the "home" part of "home match" loses a little meaning.

Marvin you wanna tell people where they can and cannot play disc golf? Unless people are getting paid to play they can't be told where to.

heen32- do you play for a Team? Their is money involve in this.
I never said tell people where can andcant play disc golf! Teams pays couple of hundred dollars to participate in TC. The way I see it every Single Teams in the Northeast has or have Home Course. Except Wickham but that can be fixes next year, Base in 2 years of experience playing in TC and yes I understand that everyone have a job and career that can interfere with TC. This is an advantage for other teams. That is why schedule are made before the beginning of the season.

(Mullen made good point of home course advantage and JDisc neutral Challenge. I am sure every one see a controversy here in this subject.)

Team Challenge is exactly like High School sports. Except you representing your home course rather than school. Let's say you go to school (A) playing against (B),(C),D,E,F, Z school. you can't play for (Z) because it's not your school and no where near the diameter district and residency of that school. I think Godfathering should be taking away completely. This problem is solve. Mass got alot of disc golf courses and many good players.

My point is why do we represent and play Disc Golf? What is TC for then?

Marvin it's pretty common for high school athletes not to attend their local high school and opt to attend a Private or Prep school to athletics

Gentlemen.

This league has evolved.

Stew, why is it that a couple of your best players are an hour plus away from NASA's home course? Jim Wills, John Tserpes? Daniel Marcus? ... don't act like NASA isn't guilty of the same exact thing Burgess is.

While I am at it. Look at the Farm Team, I know some of those guys are hours away from their "HOME" course, they essentially are the Earl Cup team which is derived from the entire state.

Wickham has pulled from other areas now.

If you want to compete in this league, which is essentially competing with the Frizzaks, whom I must say Cranbury probably has the most "homegrown" team and Maine, who draws from the entire state, in most cases you need to pull from other areas!

TT is 100% home grown tallent!

Wick prob felt the need to go out of area because of close proximity to 2 other teams....the player pool around here has thinned out because of it.

I knew you'd bring that up SS. NASA formed from the old Pye team and Team Wompatuk after the first season. You are correct that our net for players has been cast far, but the names you mentioned were orphans at the time. And the composition of our team has changed little since then. Daniel and Drew Smith are from our NH bureau--I'm pretty sure we're the closest team for them as well.

We offer all NASA players a healthcare and retirement package that is best in the league, do I don't think they're going anywhere soon.

Not true. Heenan provides moxie and adds to the chemistry of the team. He also would whoop up on the players that represented Burgess last year that are no longer on the team.

That's b/c it was flukey, and the understable stuff you throw doesnt mesh well with 30+ mph gusts

I lost because Kerry played really well and I wacked a lot of trees. I think I hit trees like 5-6 holes in a row off the tee. Certainly not my normal consistent albeit short driving game which should match up well with a piss ant course like Burgess.

Then don't play. All the rules were voted on by the captains prior to the season, majority rules.

So what you are saying is that Mass is only "Enforcing" the rules that "Everybody" voted on? Is that right?

We voted in the right to keep crybabies in the league too,..right?
