Please don't let the dub V's be the face of Maine.
Let D.LibZ do that.
Agreed they are pussies.
Half of them were born in mass.

Half of them were born in Mass because Maine probably didn't have Hospitals yet

So $4 gas is too much to justify a trip to play all day in a consolation tournament against your competitive comrades--but it's not too much if you factor in getting wasted.
You truly are Seagull Jr.
Hey if we are the #5 seed, I view the day as an opportunity to bid farewell to my pals on Tully since it'll be a year and a half until we see them again in T.C.

Maybe Woodland Valley would've showed up if this was the the case:
You want to make the 4 teams show up for B finals bracket? Here's my idea. Raise the stakes. Make it mean something as in whoever finishes 1 and 2 on the day stays in the A pool for next season 3 and 4 moves moves down to B Pool. Your team doesn't don't show - sorry B Pool for you. Yeah I know its too late to implement it (or is it?), but something to think about for next year. That is if the A pool finals format structure remains the same.
Yeah that's right, I quoted myself. This would give it more meaning than just being a consolation prize.

The Finals at Charlton Woods will be the best Finals, with the best party and the most fun. Guaranteed.
The venue is amazing. If NASA plays there it will be better than ever, as they are the coolest team in the A Pool

yes and if a team(s) wanna show..key word WANT to show then they can!!
calling it finals and demanding everyone goes under the perception it is a "meaningful event" is a joke
to me it is just a large gathering of cool peeps that are skilled at DG..so if that is a fun day to you then show..if not then don't
but to call peeps lame for not showing is well lame
say farewell to Tullyrock for a year and a half..try FOREVER

as this region will see a serious mix up over the next year!!!!
so to me this is just a cool way to play one last time as the TRstar Band!! and look forward to the upcoming changes as it only means we have evolved!
cya all there and I plan to mop the course up with whomever I play!!

whoever said that if dub v would have made top 4 and then they would have attended finals is correct, im sorry I dont want to make a 2.5 hour trip south at 4 bucks a gallon for nothing, no offense to the fellow players cause i enjoy playing golf with just about every one of you, even solbo... but its just not worth my time and money and im one of the furthest south in this state so i cant blame the rest of my team for also not wanting to make the trip. say what you want, you got our money so its not like we are skipping out on that just traveling again for casual golf. good luck to all who play, kick us out next year dont matter we likely wont be back anyways. this years finals is dumb top 6 teams should be able to play for the money.

I am not even involved and I still dont understand how teams are playing but not for the win. I agree with Gary. Team Challenge used to fun..3 seasons ago. Drama, arguments and over lapping of TC with ICEBOWLS and other events ruined it (for me anyway). I do wish I could get the weekend up there fishing a imbibing. Have fun everybody.

Placing an entire season on the result of one day seems flawed.

Top of the A pool playing at Hyland.
I printed out some papers to explain the layout of the Blue baskets. They are in the sign in shed. When standing at the drop box directly behind you there are pink papers inside the top of the syrup evaperator. I left them there so no one else would grab them.
The only thing that I did not get to put on them is the distance on 18 from the basket to OB. It is 40' to the left and past, 33' to the right when looking at the basket from the wall.
I suggest looking at this green and also 9's green to see where the OB is before playing.
I know the course has gone through so many changes in one year, but I am trying to get it all done quicker than most courses. The current layouts will never change. So it is all improvements from here on out.
Good luck and set some scores that will stick for a long time.

I will leave that up to a group decision. I did not charge greens fees last year, but the course did recieve money that seemed to left over from the pot.
All I would ask for is everyone to understand how quick I added this layout and not to criticize a few things that still need to be done. Also to thanks Wendy for her patience with all of the time I have spent out there.

Thanks for all of your hard work, Don - I'm sure the course will present an appropriate challenge.
Inappropriate: the fact that the three STnasaOOcranGEclitS still have not worked out their differences. There wasn't even ANY discussion except for Dome wondering where JD was.....
Time for Commissionaurus Interruptus...................
the lack of planning is primarily responsible for this ridiculous debacle;
Todd must lay down his ruling, and the stooges must obey - period.

We'll essentially be taking over the course, on what seems to be a beautiful day, I would think the traffic would be pretty significant on a day like tomorrow, I don't think Burgess would mind paying greens fees, do other teams agree?

Maine
People from ma conn rhode island and jersey did not want to play finals in maine last year but we sucked it up and went. To say gas is an issue is complete bs. You turned your back on us and I hope people in the team challenge do the same back to you.
Played new layout at highlands yesterday and I must say that it was awesome. Great wrk don boliver and wendy.

I like this idea...although I think the only fair way to decide playoff layout/structure is by the commish.
Todd, tell us what to do please.
2 or 4 people per team?
3 holes then sudden death? 6 holes? 9 holes?
Here is the only discussion I found on the matter. Can other people from NASA and Cran please chime in your opinion for the format?
Lets get this down so we can prepare the players involved.
